ooh, shoes, lovely shoes, I like those a lot Dr.Aimeelister! Lots of practice I'd suggest 'cos I bet they'll have had the stage polished before graduation. Hope you have a fab day!
Where was I? So easily distracted..
Chicken picked, stock a-stocking, chicky spinach bhuna made and scoffed (yum yum) and 3 lots for the freezer, plants in but not plants out yet, kitchen respectable again, level one in the bedroom (why does this always make me smirk??), BM on timer which I've never tried out before, two washloads out, I think that's enough for tonight. And Ihad my mum on the phone for half an hour during the kitchen frenzy. She's down in the dumps so I'm going to see her on Thursday now too.
Neither of the cat's seem 'off' (especially when I was picking the chicken) one of them just like to hurl for theraputic reasons as far as I can tell. Who knows.
Welcome to the thread Sallya, you've done well so far!
Well done on the getting up to 50 on your first lesson Shell, it's exciting stuff isn't it!
Hev, you're doing really well going cold turkey on the diet coke, I'm telling all my friends who drink it how awful it is for them; I had no idea until folks stared posting links when you started stopping (IYSWIM). Making me think about the amount of chewing gum I eat which has sweetners in too. You've started an awareness campaign and I'm right behind you!One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Haven't had a chance to catch up with this thread, it's been a very stressy day. Mondays, Wednedsdays and Thursdays I start and finish 30 minutes after everyone else in the office (well other than the guy I car share with), tuedays always throw me as I don't have that quiet 30 minutes at the end of the day to catch up with stuff I've missed during the day and work out the plan for the next day.
I'm also discovering the nightmare of having staff, am currently having a problem with one of them that I'm not quite sure how to tackle, but he really is becoming a liability.
Right time for me to go and watch some dr who and play with the ratties.

Hev you are doing SO well, don't give up.:T :T :T :T
Just rush past the DC when you go shopping or better still shop on line and you can avoid the temptation entirely. When I lost loads of weight (now all put back on and more) I realised that it only took seconds of being strong willed to not buy something wheras if I had stuff in the house it was impossible not to eat it. Hugs to you
Aimeelister congratulations you genius! Ph D in what?? Shoes maybe? There's material for several Phds in this thread I reckon.
Kazmeister I've never been a soap addict but I'm sure you're right .. this thread has to be more fascinating than made up stories.
Night night (creeps upstairs very quietly as sharing room with DGD tonight)0 -
Thanks for all the support - still DC free :j:j:j
I plan to sit down and have a really nice cup of tea just as soon as DS calms down. He is in the first lull since around 7pm!
Interestingly, I drink my tea weak and milky, so I am probably really coming down off the caffeine. Who would have thought fizzy pop that you wouldn't hesitate to give to kids could be so much of a problem?
Cannot manage a single, feeble flap tonight. That does not stop me aiming to really fly tomorrow.
Lil_me - hope your DS has eaten and is now okay.
HevAlways another chapter0 -

Now how the heck im going to not fall flat on my face as i walk across the stage i have no idea!!!
I find that the trick with heels is to wiggle your bum. Of course, being on stage in front of everyone may put you off trying that :rotfl:
Congratulations on PhD :T:T:T
