:hello: Morning all, feeling a bit tired, could not get to sleep until late and then DS3 was up bright and early for his trip, he was so excited. It is silent here, other 2 kids are at school and DH is somewhere around Waterloo (I hope) dropping off Mum and DS3.

Need to pace myself as I do not want to waste the day. Will work on yesterdays' list with breaks for paperwork. Just got my insurance renewal which seems very high so need to do some comparision - got an email from confused.com yesterday as I used them last year - DS3 was on my lap and saw the icon and said to me look you have an email from confused.com - how do you know that I said - he is only 5 - he said I know that picutre of the man scratching his head is from them - he is confused:rotfl: the power of advertising. Will ring tesco as well and get the free points for getting a quote.

    Morning all :)

I do love this thread - 15 minutes of catching up this morning has cheered me right up!

Aimee - I LOVE the shoes... I love all shoes... ;) Congratulations and good luck with the graduation. At mine, I got flustered and tried to accept my degree from the steward instead of the proper official (can't remember what they are called...) And to make things worse it was all on video!! :o

Very educational too - never knew the DC was so bad! Well done

I'm a bit stressed this morning - mum arrives today, dad tomorrow... 3 of us and two cats in my one bed flat  The worst bit is - mum loves 'flying' in my place - especially my hot spots... so live in permanent stress at what she might uncover!
 Its a much nicer flat than this time last week - thanks too this thread!

On the plus side am considering a new hair do :) OH is a hairdresser so I can get a new look for free :T

Rach hope the bad news with the reception isn't too bad, good luck telling your partner.

Michelle and Rach well done for the wardrobe clearing, in all honesty I think I should do mine too. Some stuff sells well on ebay if in good condition by the way. Usually depends what it is, I tend to search before deciding if it is worth it.

Chivas if your Mum likes flying let her help, I have an attitude with guests of if you don't like it don't stay, if you want to help then great. Works for me. If there are certain things you don't want to find I have a drawer with no handles, works for me, anything I don't want guests or kids to find goes in there.

Dusty I am sure your DS will have a great time, enjoy the peace and quiet, I'm sure it will fly over

Well have only done a few dailies so far as DP is in bed, will strip that once he's out of it. So going to have a 'browse' on the net and a cuppa to start me off, put Jeremy Kyle on aswell which is making me laugh. Kids are at school until 4.30pm tonight to practise for the concert, DS1 not impressed at that and the fact they have a stand in teacher he dislikes (an old teacher of mine actually and I didn't like him either but haven't let on) that added to yesterdays accusation he tried to run away again from school this morning. Appointment at 12 to discuss DS1s medication review again and sort out any other things for over the hols.

Right off to have a nosey around the tinternet, hope everyone has a productive day and the poorly littlies are feeling better.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

It's so busy on here these days. Really buzzing. Lovely to read that everyone is doing well. Have just scanned through the last few pages.

Flying is ok here - just trying to keep on top of things. In between I'm slowly (make that VERY slowly) decluttering cupboards. Stuff that's been in there since we moved nearly 3 years ago. I figured that we don't need most of it.... and I was right. The rest has gone up to the loft. No doubt not to be seen until we move house again! Oh well....

Off to hoover upstairs before I lost the motivation. First I just need to post a dull question thread....

Have a great day FLYing everyone.

Thanks lil_me - I know I should - I feel very ungrateful! It's just after years of living away from home, I've got myself very private and hate the thought of people in my stuff!! (albeit less stuff since I started flying ;)) Isn't it awful that I turn into a stroppy teen when my parents come by?!!:rolleyes::o

Anyway, short of buying locks there isn't much that keeps her out ;)
