If it was me (and I have one too!), I would get a small pot of filler to fill the hole and recreate the shape (maybe over fill and sand back), then try either a modelling/craft shop or halfords to get a tester paint pot thingy that is the closest match to the colour of the tile.

Unless you were looking for it, you probably wouldn't see it after that

    I'm guessing

I've not done anything today except a load of washing and the breakfast dishes/S&S the kitchen :o I got distacted by the enviromental health officers who had come to look at next doors house :j:j He's got a fully grown -much-taller-than-the-house Sycamore tree about 3ft from his kitchen door  Plus another tree in the "garden" (Ha! Thats a laugh - it's the local flytipping area as it's so overgrown!) and his house is filthy! Its the sort of house that would be turned-down by Kym & Aggie as it would be TOO BAD  and thats only from seeing the livingroom and going on what neighbours/police have said :eek:

Right, off to S&S the bathroom and make the beds while the livingroom light warms up enough to light the logbooks properly  Shouldn't take long

    Thanks TNG :)

That sounds a lot easier than removing the lintel (?? hmmm, don't think that's what it's called - the skirting board type thing that goes under the units...), prising out the tile and attempting to replace it!

Congrats, AimeeLister, you must feel very proud of yourself, and what an interesting line of work you are in. Perhaps we should refer to you as Q from now on... Hope all goes well for the graduation and that you don't do a Naomi Campbell in those killer heels.

Now off to make lunch - quiche & salad. Having HM pizza for tea and hope to make some raspberry and white choc muffins to take to friend's house tomorrow.

    Have a good afternoon everyone.

Well not too bad. When i've dropped DS2 at school this afternoon i'm going to bake my mum a banana loaf and do some more of TWINKS hobnobs. I love baking, only problem is i've then got to eat it! Oh well at least there will be something tasty in to eat then, cupboards are looking a bit bare:o.
    Nothing to declare ;)

    Hi all,
I only found this board yesterday but already am so glad i did.
My house is an utter discrace at the moment and would love to join in as it might just be the motivation i need.

I have just popped the bed covers and curtains in the washer and cleaned the windows and sills. it is only the beginning but already i feel so much better for doing it.

Fingers crossed i keep it up and then hopefully by next week it wont be such a mountain to climb.

    Heavenleigh xx

Afternoon one and all. Just checking on what I have done (and to see what you have all done too0. Not striking today - deleting to leave a little tidy list.

    Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Level Two

    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Dust PC and desk
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)
    Level Three
    sort paperwork from floor
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Clean windows

Looks like a lot left but in the study it is only my desk and paperwork plus the bathroom which is not a big job nowadays with the swish and swipe.

Nipping to the shops (outlet place) in a minute with OH to get him some shoes for his interview tomorrow and to get a few bits for the boys for holidays.

    See you all later.

    Hiya
I've been a bought myself a big cake tin so I can start baking properly again. Only problem is i've got one of those multisize ones and the brownie mix has oozed through the gaps in the dividers. Whilst the main part is lovely the bit that's oozed through has burnt and smells awful. Going to surf the net to see what i'm doing wrong!

If anyone can point me in the direction of any good tray bake recipes i'd be grateful xx

Wow now i'm on a roll only one left to do and then i think i may start on Monday and Tuesdays since i missed them.
I love the idea of following the list, i must admit this is the first time ever i have dusted the lightshades and by following the list and cleaning the light switches it has made me scrape off the dried paint that has been there for 3 months since we decorated
