Hiya
I've been a bought myself a big cake tin so I can start baking properly again. Only problem is i've got one of those multisize ones and the brownie mix has oozed through the gaps in the dividers. Whilst the main part is lovely the bit that's oozed through has burnt and smells awful. Going to surf the net to see what i'm doing wrong!
If anyone can point me in the direction of any good tray bake recipes i'd be grateful xx
Classic 1000 cakes & bakes recipe book is really good. Has breads & biscuits as well. Hope this helps. (should be on Amazon & in WHSmiths).Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.0 -

Well, I'm back from interviewing for new deputy at school.. I was meant to finish at 1pm.. I got home at 4:30pm!!!!! AND we appointed none of them!! lol.. SO I have to go through it all again in September once we have placed a new advert.. so if you are fabulous and qualified to be a deputy head at a school where the last 4 deputy's have all become heads then PLEASE apply lol.

Hiya
Piggybankrupt - thanks for book suggestion, i'll have a look at it.
Well, I'm just waiting for DS to throw up bless him. He said he felt sick when he had tea and there's a bug going round at school. He asked to go to bed at 6.30 so I think it's a matter of time. Bless him. I was starting work again properly tomorrow but might have to ring all my clients in the morning and cancel. I don't like sending him to my mums when he's sick.
I seem to have been 27 boogie flinging between taking DD to brownies and choir and school run and yet nothing is looking tidier.
Must try harder, must try harder, must put feet up and relax xxJanuary budget

Hi everyone and welcome and well done to the newbies.
BAD day today, fell off the wagon.
Woke up shattered so made kids lunches and went back to bed so OH had to do school run again.
Finally got up at lunchtime and then sat around in dressing gown until 2 when I showered and got ready for the school run.
But with OH we have managed to change our flights for holiday - now going out 2 days earlier Yippee. Also booked the car hire and car parking and changed booking for Dogotel.
Have also S/S kitchen and dining room but thats it. As there's only me and DD8yrs for tea (and she refuses to tidy bedroom) I've decided she can get her own tea tonight - such a bad mother I am. She's doing ok, quite a healthy plateful, lots of fruit and raw veg, I'm impressed. Better than the chocolate biscuits and tea I've been eating all day.
Gonna have to play a big catch up tomorrow.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Are they s**es, then?????
