Afternoon. I am loving the banter on here, it really does keep me going some days!!!

Hugs to everyone and extra ones for ill lo's

Right my list. I went home at lunch to try and have a go at this and failed miserably as the man was in my house painting my front door..... So i got in the kitchen and did what i hadnt done yesterday for drooling at Sean Bean and the place is looking better. So this eve i am aiming to do....

    Tuesday Living Room and Stairs
    Level 1

    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean window
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around - my mission is to read those that have arrived in bed over the week!!
    • Clean fireplace, vacuuming it can help if it is very bad, wiping over with a damp cloth to make sure it's dust free, clean fire aswell if safe to do so (mine comes apart so can vacuum inside the cover)
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, clean the filters is they are washable and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leav it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together. Going to do this after hoovering out the log fire!!!
I also need to put away the 4 loads of washing that should be dry by the time i get home.

    Have a good afternoon all

I've signed up for the digest - there are waay too many emails otherwise. I find some of the tips helpful, but I skip the ones with a highly moral tone and the ones selling her products. I do try to do the mission of the day in addition to what's on here, as sometimes it's things I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. She also sends reminders about breast checks etc.

I appreciate that she's got a business to run, and that it's free to subscribe, so I wouldn't put her down for what she's doing. She really does throw herself in heart and soul.

I find this thread a lot more helpful, the banter and support is more like the kind of community environment our mothers and grandmothers had, with people chatting at the shop or over the garden wall. Also, if you follow the lists on here, you'll get things done a lot more quickly - FlyLady's way would take far too long!

That sounds similar to what I had figured after half a day - which is good!

I'm lazy and tired again today, still nursing my sinus cold or whatever it is.
I did the kitchen and hall floors, and the living room floor and chairs/sofa. I'll try to do a bit more later.
Galantvr4 I hope your little girl makes a speedy recovery and that the tests come back with good news x
