Hello all
Just to say that I am still being a good MSE and had another NSD! 9 for August. Very proud. I might have spent more than I was planning this month but I honestly do not feel I have wasted anything.
I also found out today that I will be getting a council tax refund from my old house. It takes 10 days and only £60 but still exciting stuff!!
Hope you are all good I am trying to catch up on everyone's diaries so please comment and let me know if I have missed yours!

Good morning all
Had a lovely weekend, hope you all did too.
Great news yesterday one of my bridesmaids got engaged! Amazing newsSo happy planning away although if I am a bridesmaid (she hasnt asked yet!!) I have SO much weight to shift.
I ordered some new glasses today too, 2 pairs for £45.95 reduced from £175.95 think that is acceptable!
Busy week at work but hopefully more debt busting...
Hope you are all good x

Hi *waves* thanks for saying hi!
Yes burns are better now, its been nearly 7 weeks and they will scar but hopefully not too badly!
It most certainly is a rollacoster, and its very strange to think unlike some people I will literally be fired from my role if I can't pay back debt at the agreed rate! I want to though, and am striding along nicely.
this morning I paid off my halifax overdraft. Felt SO good. At only £200 and costing me £29-31 a month thats a scary £365 a year! Mental. It wasn't until I started MSE that I realised how awful this truly is.
Next up, I have got my 10 catalogues down to 3!! Just wish SO much that I hadnt been defaulted on a tiny £261 debt. SO gutted about that and hope in the future it doesn't affect my chances of a mortgage. Not that this will be for a while but still, a whole 6 years. Until Jan 2019, when it should just pop off. :T
DH is struggling with money at the moment. I earn more than him and he can't cope with not being the main breadwinner! I keep telling him that I love my job work hard etc but as he is in retail and has been since he graduated its difficult to move out.
However, its likely he will get a rather lovely bonus this October, and that should help pay off some of his debt.
He has c£4k on his B.card, £1k on another and a loan:eek:. Sometimes I jsut wish we could magic it away!
Anyhow, I hope everyone is good?? HAVE A GREAT DAY!! x

Such a shame, we have only been married 4 months but already DH is being a bit of a pain. He is making life difficult as I am working such long hours and stuff and stressing me out with his behaviour at home.
I thought he would be proud of me, but it seems he is jealous.
Never mind need to work through this but cant see how at the moment. x

Right all, back on the MSE train! I am loving it. Paying off SO much I am very happy. It just makes such a difference paying off debt and reducing the companies I owe money too. Feeling very positive about it all.
Hope you all had a great weekend! x

hello all!
An update for you. DH apologised and said sorry. He is just jealous of who I doing in my job and that we want a family but just cant think about babies at the moment.
Also, I got £200 in compensation from my old landlord!! And I have spent it. Ooops! But I needed a new smart handbag for work and got a complete bargain a gorgeous mulberry for £200. I know I could have paid off debt etc and I do want to but I really needed a treat and as it was money I never had, I kinda think why not?!
I have my mum and bros coming over for a BBQ. Not very MSE but I saved loads by going home last weekend and coming home laden down with goodies so its nice to return the favour.
Hope you are all good x
