AVOID ARGOS at all costs!

Purchased a camera a few months back, it is faulty and has deleted all my pictures. Argos will only offer a repair, despite it being less than a few months old.
I know they are entitled to do this, but I am on holiday next week and feel that as I lost all my photos they would just have replaced it.
The manager was extremely rude and didn't have the time of day woman behind the counter didn't know about anything and all in all the whole experience has been a complete disgrace.
If I were you I would avoid at all costs. I am writing to basically make everyone aware that argos will only replace something if under 30 days from purchase. Not good enough IMO especially not taking into consideration other circumstances.

No I won't avoid them, they have done nothing wrong. You should of uploaded you pictures to your PC or the cloud.
How long had they been on your camera?0 -
I'm going to buy things at Argos now - they didn't get this wrong, sorry.0

You all work for Argos....every last one of you!0

Might pop over to Argos for a little shop, buy me a £20 gift voucher and then never spend it."Always fulfil your needs, only fulfil your wants when your needs are no longer a concern" - citricsquid0

Have you tried to recover your pictures?
Argos in common with 1001 other retailers will not replace a camera or any other device just because it's not convenient to you to have it repaired.0 -
Not me though i do find that customer services in Argos has to put up with a lot of customers who are ignorant of how to use a product .
Not sure what these other circumstances are in the OP though . They may well be highly relevant or not .0 -
All you have to do is tell the CEO of Argos what the pictures were of and he will happily take them again for youOwing on CC £00.00 :j

Your post is really having the opposite affect kimberley, Ill not stop shopping at argos, I may not use them alot but I dont see a reason to stop using them.
You could have prevented the loss of the photos by making a copy or copies.0 -
