    One thing a day sounds good :-)

    Today I have managed to pick up a dinner set (one I really wanted as well) for £10, it's £22 in the shops, so good saving there. Saw it on local Facebook page. Another thing ticked off the list. Still lots to get but slowly adding up now. Next on the list is cutely and duvet and pillow set. Would like decent ones as want to keep and not have to replace further down the line. Can get one off them this week, then will have to save the pennies for baby milk etc as going to be a little while before I get any more penny's.

    Packed up some stuff in old house today, clothes, toiletries etc ex still being nice, so wasn't too bad.

    Can't wait too get a viewing off the house, I believe it's going to be a couple off weeks. But want to get measuring and planning on how to spend the pennies. Been pricing things up so know cheapest place etc where to go but on hold until I see the place. Place could be a mess but doesn't really matter. Got some ideas on decorating etc so just need to see place now.

    Hi,

    You can get decent cheap cutlery... I've just spent a couple of minutes on Ebay and spotted;

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STAINLESS-STEEL-KNIVES-FORKS-SPOONS-SET-OF-6-OF-EACH-/181412694172?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Kitchen_Cutlery_PP&hash=item2a3d0a089c

    and also

    not sure if I'm allowed to actually post links to Ebay lol but they were dead easy to find... Any problems then gimmie a PM :)

    Cheers monkey balls, didn't think off eBay for some strange reason. Sometimes we need the obvious pointed out, thanks :-) was only going to spend £20 but if I can them cheaper great. Want a specific type as hand cramps and locks up a lot, but have spotted them cheaper already. This is great as I have less money than I thought and now I can afford to get them again :-) the cheap ones in the shop were nasty! Lol x

    I know I'm coming into this a bit late, but it may be worth exploring the various sources of help available for setting up a new home, as it sounds like you;re in quite a serious situation.

    Picked up cutlery set and holder for the drawers, with still a few pounds over for something else :-)

    Had some cheques off tax credits this morning, so going to save them and keep living on nothing. It means now I've got plenty off cash to set the house up. Still going to source things cheap as possible but there's things I can buy now I was just going to do without and get when ans as I could afford them. Wasn't expecting as much as I got but they have backdated them.

    Just waiting on notification off a viewing for the house now. Can't wait to see it and start measuring. I grew up in a house just across the road so have some idea off layout, however some are slightly different than others. And really looking forward to having a garden too, like too do some growing eventually but will need to look into it. Will definitely get some herbs in straight away.

    Not much longer now hopefully xxxx
