Very pleased shyspender!
My lentil loaf was vastly improved by the addition of spicy tomato sauce
Today I have -
Not spent any money :j (SFD 5/15. That can't be right, surely?!?)
Checked in :j (6/31)
Not done any exercise. I was due to go to a "BattleFit" outdoor circuits class, but was a) not going to get there in time and b) have a really sore wrist from yesterday's beating! So I decided I would jog instead when I got home as that involves no taking weight on the wristies, then I faffed, then it tipped it down, then I was hungry. Excuses, excuses...

Hi tributes,
SFD yesterday but a spend day today so I'm currently on 3 SFD for the month :T
Had to buy cakes for work for my birthday which was over Easter but I've only just returned to work We have a very large team/department so cost me a little over £25. This comes out of the social / birthday budget so was planned for.
Took LTW today so on target at the moment. I also managed to resist buying any tea or coffee at work so apart from the cakes, and a rare lottery ticket, it was a good day.
Made a £35 sale on FB :T but they won't be collecting until Thursday so hoping it all goes through.
Other than that not much to report except that it's a bit of a mad house here at the moment with 7 dogs all fighting for attention :rotfl::rotfl:
See you all tomorrow
Chez xThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"0 -
Oops!!
Nearly forgot daily check in!
Today I've spent £16.96 for Dental Appt which I can claim back on my dental insurance with work.
I also spent £11.96 in Lidl on a few lunch items and pasta.
Sticking to my weekly Grocery budget so far.
Still only achieved 1 SFD this month.
Have downloaded the trial version of YNAB and spent the last hour inputting everything I need to.
Last meeting now before I go into cuddle my DS who has a sore throat!
Hope you all had a lovely day.2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)

I logged another SFD yesterday as we did go to the gig but left almost immediately as it was way too crowded and neither of us felt like we were going to have any funIt did save me a tenner though...
A friend paid me for some stuff she bought via FB (direct to my account to save fees) so that's gone to my ISA and I've already hit my target for the month. Next stop £100
SFD planned again today - the only money I'll be spending will be on posting parcels and I'm transferring money from Paypal each time I do that so I won't mess up my budget.
Chilli for dinner made in the slow cooker. That should last a few meals too0 -
