Got a big bag of Kale in the veg box this week, there are 5 hungry people to feed...
Tues: heaps of it as vegetable with lentil loaf, pots and carrots.
Wed :leftovers in kale "bubble and squeak" (with ilatian sauce with beans incase you want to know!).
Thurs: made a large sweet potato stew and used as much as I could "fit" in that.
There is still a good 1/3 of the bag left:rotfl: I'm sure it is refilling itself at night.
Just the opposite of last weeks huge bag of spinach- used all of that in the sweet pot stew last week and it disappeared:rotfl: .0 -

Mmm, home grown kale - lucky you!
You can treat it pretty much the same way you would green cabbage, although (depending on how thick the leaves are) it can sometimes take a bit longer to cook. I like it best stirfried, but you can steam / boil it as well if you prefer.
I hope you enjoy it.Back after a very long break!0 -
kale is good in soup too just chop it up or it freezes well, just pop it in a freezer bag and when you need it just scrunch some from the bag whilst frozen it breaks easily then0
