Cut out as much of the stalk as you can and chop the leaves fairly small (scissors are a blessing here!) then I coat in heated olive oil in a HOT pan, add a couple of TbSps of water and put the lid on the pan; steam like that for two minutes and voila, done.

i ever so lightly steam it then add butter when that's melted i sprinkle on some garlic granules (from lidl) and then some grated parmesan (the kind from the canisters, not fresh) we actually FIGHT over any greens done this way :rotfl:founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0
