    Mmmm, now I'm hungry for a curry, I love brown rice!

    I'm fasting today and really trying hard to avoid weighing myself, its always bad on a Monday and I'd like to get into the habit of just weighing myself once a week...

    Breakfast - 2 cups of tea
    Lunch - Chicken and Noodle cuppa soup
    Dinner - Bacon and ricotta fritatta

    Need some more calories in there somewhere so might have an apple :)

    I only get weighed once a week, first thing on a Friday morning.

    I bought new running shoes and socks yesterday, my old ones were too worn on the sole, the new ones were half price and I went for a run in them and they were very comfy. My left glute was very sore though so I couldn't run very well, I am putting it down to removing the gel seat on my bike on Saturday and cycling with the very unforgiving racing seat.

    This evening I will probably cycle.

    Had some cookies today, so ~1000 kcal from sugar... Af first I couldn't say no to a friend, then to cookies! :rotfl:

    Never mind. At least I haven't bought any more sweets after work.

    Evening

    It all went a bit pair shaped this afternoon. I walked 16000+ steps but didn't go to the gym. I was eating until dinner, when I had pasta with my bolognese, and cheese on top, and then a huge chocolate bar. Oh dear.

    Onwards and upwards, as I keep saying, 2 classes booked for tomorrow morning!

    The lessons I learnt today were;
    - I prefer exercising in the morning, if I leave it until the evening, I am much less likely to go.
    - I struggle to control my eating once I have one meal off plan, I feel the day is ruined and go further off track.

    Morning all

    1LB loss for me yesterday so can't complain as I wasn't convinced I had lost at all.

    Its also first attempt at back to back classes tonight with Circuit training followed by legs, bum and tums it's not a class I would have chosen for myself but playing wing-woman for a friend.
    Think I kind of disgust some of the LBT women as I was asked how I stand being so sweaty :rotfl: then I suppose the hair resembles worzel gummidge at times after a class :D

    Curry went down a treat and the oven baked onion bahji was passable but not a scratch on the real thing.

    Food today
    Bfast overnight oats (blueberry and maple)
    Lunch mixed bean salad
    Tea poached eggs on wmeal toast
    Snacks apple

    Have a great day everyone

    Hello All,

    I'm afraid my good intentions haven't lasted very long....I haven't been on here for a while & food logging on MFP has been ditched :( need to get back into the game....will be more focused tomorrow.

    Having a terribly busy time in work so not making gym classes in the evening...keeping up with 30DS but need to get walking more...I have taken 2770 steps today due to virtually not leaving my desk all day! Need to make more of an effort to get more steps in.

    A question I have for you all who post your food diaries....do you only eat 3 meals a day? If so I'm clearly eating too much - today I have eaten;

    B - red grapes, blueberries, pomegranate seeds & natural yogurt
    L - pesto pasta with bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes & side salad
    D - toast & cheese (naughty but starved by the time I was home!)
    Snacks - 12 almonds, apple, banana, 2 belvita biscuits & a sliver of Costco cinnamon bun!

    Will try to be encouraged by your good habits & strong willpower!

    Hello PennyK - if I posted everything that passed my lips some days, the post would be humungous! Your food sounds good and honest! When I am 'good' and eat right for me, then yes, I may have 3 meals + a snack. What is right for me is loads of protein (2 or 3 scrambled egg + 100g cottage cheese + 20g ground almonds + 100g pl yog if I have it + 4g cinnamon = breakfast!), and aiming for 10 VEGGIES per day, and keeping off the sugar and grains.

    When I get to 3 or 4 pm, if I'm suddenly hugely hungry, then that is often because I didn't eat enough protein at lunch. I know cheese isn't exactly a clean source of lean protein, but in situations like the 4pm munchies, it's good enough!

    Good luck with your renewed enthusiasm and seeking out those extra steps!
