Morning!
Weather is horrible here today!! I have been MIA for a bit sorryyyBeen doing much better with regular keep fit though. Running once a week with a friend, boxing/fitness class on a Thursday and military bootcamp on a Saturday morning. Dropping the Thursday class now as I can't get in to it and will replace with my Davina DVD + Jillian Michaels one's I have ect.
Need to have a read back through catch up on what everyone has been doing.
jediwinner A shuffle is better than not at all and you speed up in time. I was doing a hill Monday night and I may aswell have walked but I kept shufflingEating wise have something ready for when you get back in, whether it be a banana/nuts + glass of water. If you want something sweet either have one square of choc or a cracker with some nutella on.
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Well it's a new year and I for one now have half a stone of winter insulation to shift
so thought it would be a great time to resurrect this thread.
Things got pretty busy for me the last few months with taken on some extra work to clear some bills time there never seemed enough hours in the day to hit the gym, quickly enough healthy eating started to slip in favour of quick carb heavy meals , instant sugar fixes and caffeine binges to get me thru the day and all my hard won health benefits are disappearing at an alarming rate.
I need to get back on the wagon im too youngto feel this old!
time to pull my knickers up sort my diet and my fitness before I totally undo a year's hard graft getting to where I wanted to be.
Im back on the wagon :j anyone else0 -

Afternoon everyone,
Can I join in too please? I might have replied to this thread last year sometime then got totally distracted with other things
I don't know how much weight I have to lose because the battery has gone on my scales (on the list of to do stuff) But I do know my clothes don't fit like they used to. I've got 3 pairs of jean in the wardrobe that I'd like to fit back into. If I achieve that I'll be happy regardless of what the scales say.
I'm not exercising right now. I know this sounds bad but I'll explain... I can't start both at the same time, diet AND exercise. So over the next few weeks I'm getting used to changing my diet and swapping for healthier choices. Then I'll start exercising. I'm doing it this way because every single time in the past I've never been able to get through a week of healthy eating and exerciseand I've learnt that exercise is pretty much useless without the right foods.
Being a fussy eater isn't helping but so far I think I'm doing really well :TEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
That's fantastic Fmess start as we mean to go on.
I did the same as you Melonade sorted the diet first then slowly added in the exercise just started off walking and went from there.
This year is different for me as I was a target member of SW im 7lb above my target weight and 4lb off their allowance so don't wish to pay to go back so will be trying it myself at home, the gym membership has also gone for the time being as I can't match my working hours to the classes I wanted to attend so seem daft paying for something I wasn't getting full use off.
So my plan is to use the free HITT videos on you tube starting with Zwow #1 from home
Keeping a food diary really works for me so shall continue that and this year im working to a tighter budget so shall cost my meals and keep better track of the macros as I tend to opt for more fruit then veg so have to watch the sugar intake
Food
B/Fast 1 slice of edam 2 400g slices wholemeal bread scraping of flora light (25p)
Lunch ,potato & spilt pea dalh (21p) homemade whole meal roti (6p)
Out for a meal tonight it's butternut squash Lasagna & seasonal veg as the veggie option I shall skip the desert for the option of a glass of wine
Have a great day0 -
Bad food day today - lots of chocolate biscuits, and little exercise as its raining too much to walk the dogs. Planning a gym visit tomorrow and planning to get on the treadmill for a bit of running.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
