Morning ladies.
I have been for a bike ride this morning on one of my usual routes but it felt so hard. When I got home I realised I hadn't had my coffee before I went so that may have affected me which I find very interesting, or the TOTM is looming closer and maybe that could have have slowed me up. Any theories?
Have a kettlebells class at lunchtime, it is my first one and I am looking forward to it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Caffeine withdrawal might have had an effect Dolly, but I find that sometimes it just seems to boil down to having a "good" or "bad" cycle, run, whatever - no rhyme or reason to it. Colder weather may play a part, or did you start / continue at a faster pace than normal? Could it even be that the wet ground increased resistance, if you ride on gravel or earth? Probably none of those things, but all I could think of......lol.
Hope you enjoyed kettlebells, did you have an extra coffee beforehand?#21 Save £12k in 2025 £12577.35/£20000

I think it was the energy spike caffeine gives that I was missing, I don't normally drink coffee with my actual breakfast unless I am doing something very active first thing.
I did enjoy the kettlebells although as it is my first time I did it all with 6kg to get the technique right. I also did fitball after which was an abs and upper body workout on one of those giant balls.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

The TOTM is a pain, I really hate how it affects the scales sometimes for 2 weeks out of 4.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

:j I have done my first workout of October! :j 300 squat jumps and 100 25lb deadlifts.
However, eating wasn't quite so good, so I'll move swiftly on to praise my dinner: a sort of chicken and ham 'pie'. Onion, garlic, chicken, ham, broccoli, muchroom, frozen spinach all cooked in a yummy way and arranged beautifully in a round dish. Then I blitzed half a cauli into 'crumbs' and spread on top, then topped this with an artistic display of grated cheese. Twas all then slammed into the oven for 20 mins. It went down extremely well, and there is still half of it left for tomorrow.

Morning all
Sorry for my absence. I have been eating lots of rubbish, not finding time for exercising and no surprise my weight has shot back up.
However, today is a new day. I have an exercise class booked, I have planned healthy meals and I will stick to it! I will be back later to confirm that all has gone to plan, I really need to post everyday to help shame me into keeping it up.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I haven't been to the gym once this week! Or exercised in any way really
I've just been in a funk this week for some reason. Eating hasn't been too bad, but there have been a couple of treaty bits and bad choices. Ah, well. Onwards and downwards, today is a clean slate.
Fmess, I can't bring myself to weigh. So, I'm going to try and have a good week, and weigh myelf next Sunday!0 -
Morning guys.
Today is my weigh in day and I have shifted another 2lb leaving just 14lb of my 6 stone target to go. I am very happy.
I ran first thing yesterday morning (well after the school run) did my new favourite route through the woods with 5 laps up the wooden steps. Today is cycling with the kids then a proper bike ride later.

Well done on your continued weight loss Dolly, very impressive!
And good to see your mojo back, AM. Fmess and Eyebright, sounds like you're both in the right frame of mind, clean slate always good for motivation.
Have been tracking everything I eat with MFP for the week, haven't gone over 1400 cals/day, done dumbbell workout 6 days out of 7 and not lost an ounce! On the positive side, not gained an ounce either......... Thinking positively, I think I need to up calories - should be 1540 a day for 05-1lb a week - increase the protein / reduce the carbs, and up the CV exercise to see if that gets me moving. Diet buddy has lost another 2lb, which is motivating me as much as her lol!#21 Save £12k in 2025 £12577.35/£20000
