Wishing everyone a positive day today :)

Thankfully I stuck with a good day yesterday. I think it was guilt over Monday! Just back from an 8 mile cycle. Tried adding another couple of miles.I will see how I feel later, but enjoyed it at the time. Just made a bowl of porridge with berries & I will have some Greek yoghurt with it.

This IF seems to be causing me acne despite eating clean foods. I don't like it. Will try to incorporate more greens, if that doesn't work, will go back to 3-4 meals a day.

Day 30 of Jiggle free all done - I'd expected it to be a long one, but it only took me 13 mins :j.

Last one tomorrow, then into August with a vengeance!

Eating is also having a third good day.

Bfast - 3 egg 'apple' omelette
Lunch - 2 eggs (yep, am almost sick of eggs!), plenty of ham, abundant peas
    Snack - cashew, apple, grape
Tea - bacon, sweet potato chips, tomato.

Nowhere near hitting the 10 veg mark, but I knew today would be like that. And it has been easier to say 'no' to sugar as I know I'm having some tomorrow.

Blue mango - what a pain re the acne! Could it be your body reacting to all the good stuff going in? How long have you been IFing? Hope eating more greens helps.

I've been eating clean for a while now, so it's nothing new to my body, there shouldn't be any reaction to that. What I've changed is eating pattern and kcal intake. Been doing IF for a week or so. I've read that IF causes woman hormonal imbalance and if it's true, my acne would be explained... Will give it another week as a trial - it feels really good to eat this way!

1 hour of exercising today. Also, started tracking my calories on one website just to get an idea how much I consume daily, it's been below 1500 for the past two days. Good :)

I don't quite understand what is a "jiggle free"?... If it's been mentioned in the beginning of the thread, I've probably missed it...

I didn't know about the hormonal imbalance, but I didn't get on with IF at all. I got quite bad migraines, despite drinking plenty of water. I also had big energy dips especially at the end of the work day. I know people who have had great results with IF, but perhaps its not for everyone?

Edit: Just a wee after thought. I have the best skin that I have ever had since starting green smoothies, maybe they would help.

blue mango apple muncher is the queen of jiggle free. It's a challenge that you can find online, like the 30 day ab or squat challenges. I think it was called Jiggle free July.

Today has been a good day calorie and exercisewise. Although the calories have been from fatty carby foods.

    Breakfast - toast
    Lunch - leftover pizza
    Snack - chocolate
    Dinner - leftover pizza!

    I've done 16000+ steps and a LBT class :)

In summary, some steps in the right direction :)

New roof and car £8557/£19003 New kitchen £396/£5039 Credit card Paid Student loan Paid

Yes, green smoothies are awesome! I was a vegetarian, vegan and even raw vegan at some point, so I had lots of them... Now I have them for breakfast on my days off. I should start having them more often, good idea. :)

IF is very convenient for me. It also stops me from overeating. But I am not so sure if it's good for my body - vegetarian diet also made me feel wonderful in the beginning, and then the side effects showed up...

What side effects did you find from vegan & vegetarian diets? I am neither, but eat a lot of both as my partner was a vegetarian & my dd is vegan. I eat fish more now that OH has started eating it. I eat meat occasionally, but find it too much hassle to make different meals for us. OH gave up being a vegetarian as he was dizzy a lot and the doctor recommended he look at his diet. I don't think it was the vegetarian diet per se it is the fact he was eating too much rubbish like Linda McCartney stuff.
