Dolly whats not to love about cauliflower it goes so well with cheese :D tho in my eyes pretty much everything goes well with cheese :D tho will admit I actually make cauliflower cheese nowadays rather than cheese with cauliflower.

    Food today

    Bfast Cooked breakfast
    Tea cheese ploughman's
    Snacks fruit

exercise walking we plan to get a few miles in today, yesterdays circuit training was dumb down a bit but was still really hard due to the heat, 25c at 7pm last night.

    Morning lovely ladies.

This will be my last post until next Friday as I am away, my running kit is coming with me though.

Yesterday was my treat and rest day, it was 28 degrees so I was quite glad for the rest. I had a few chips with the kids on our trip out, a couple of chocolate digestives, homemade pizza, half a bounty and a small bag of crisps. I did resist the ice cream when I bought one for the kids but that is easy as I don't really like it.

Have a lovely week and hope you are all slimmer when I get back.

Have had a fantastic week away with dd - thank you for all the well wishes! Plenty of walking - some of it carrying dd (ooph!), beach time where I was in a bikini - not too pretty a sight, but I have a long body and short legs, and hsve never ever ever found a swimming cossie that fitted properly!

Hmm, food. Well, it's been a vegetarian week, but a carb-heavy one with daily sugar! Oops. We're not home yet, having stopped off to visit my big sis on the way back, and will get home tomorrow. So Monday will be weigh and measure day.

However, I have done every day of Jiggle Free July and today's was 80 squats, 60 burpees and 40 russian twists and took me about 13 mins.

August needs to see me focus on exercising intelligently as well as getting in the NEAT part of things. Otherwise I'll return to work in Sept larger than when I left! Can't have that!

    Evening all :)

Have a lovely holiday dolly and welcome back for tomorrow applemuncher

Today has been difficult as drive for over 7 hours so no exercise. Ate cake and fruit for snacks but had a huge lunch, although now don't really fancy much tea.

Tomorrow is back to the exercise and controlled food.

It's also weigh in day and to be on target I need to lose 2.5lbs per week. I'm sure I haven't done that after yesterday and today's eating but would be pleased with 1 or 1.5lb, as I also had to go without much access to fruit or veg for the week.

It's my third day with no dinner :) Had 4 peaches, some blueberries, 2 small tuna stakes, tomato & half avocado for breakfast; 2 lamb stakes, tomato, pepper & some pistachios for lunch. No more hunger in the evening, I actually felt energised and lighter (?), was walking for 45min in this heat in fast pace and wasn't even out of breath, and then instead of having a rest I was exercising for 30min.
Fat is melting off my belly, as usual... :( But never mind, I still have hope. You all are keeping me motivated here!

Are you planning on not eating dinner permanently?

I have dinner with no carbs and find that massively helps.

I'm so pleased, I've lost 2lbs in 7 days :) Feel really motivated now so just need to find a way to bag this feeling and keep it!

Hope you all have a good day

Fantastic Fmess :j :j what a loss dolly  have a fantastic holiday and welcome home Apple muncher glad to had a great time ( been some quiet without you :) )

Blue you following the 5:2 diet? have you thought about giving Yoga a bash?

I did my Tai Chi lesson today, loved it :) was surprised at how much tension I had in my shoulders, and how fast I relaxed just moving through the flow yet how much energy I had once I completed the sequence (not one to do before bed) I think this will become part of my morning routine, would be great for the afternoon as a quick pick me-up.

Does anyone know how long overnight oat's would keep in the fridge? im very tempted to have a bash at the grab and go mason jar meal's to help keep me on the straight and narrow.

Have a great day everyone im off down the coast path for a wander :)

Well done you! Do you also measure yourself?

I agree on not eating carbs in the evening, that is my recent discovery since starting paleo :) I am not too strict about my diet or meal frequency, just experimenting and trying to see what works for me. I've just had a bulletproof coffee for my dinner as there wasn't enough of fats in today's meals.

No I am not :) but read a little bit about it. Do you?
I was trying to do some yoga at home but wasn't flexible enough lol... Maybe now that I am dieting and exercising, I should try again. Next month I am planning to treat myself to a thai massage - I've been told that it's like doing yoga only someone else is doing all the stretching for you.:D Also no need to show my naked legs!!

Did a run this morning but it was too warm for me, even at 9am. Ive done 13000+ steps so far and lots of lifting in the garden this afternoon.

Food hasn't been very good, too many treats and sugar today.
