    Tenth Anniversary
    Hello All

I braved the bathroom scales this morning and came in at 9 stone 13 lbs and 9 stone 10lbs so I'm going to meet them halfway and assume that I currently weigh 9 stone 11.5 lbs anyhow it's under 10 stone so that was a very welcome surprise :j.

Today I had a hardboiled egg and a home made fruit smoothie for breakfast - I treated myself to a Nutribullet blender a while ago and it has definitely helped me to increase my fruit and veg intake, lunch was low fat soft cheese and crackers and dinner will be pasta bolognaise I may have another smoothie later to see if that will stave off my 'just got in from work pre-dinner snack cravings' that I seem to have daily .

Must admit I'm feeling a bit guilty reading about all the exercise that everyone has been doing, I am definitely 100% going to do some tonight even if it is only some yoga, I may even dust off the wii fit or my Jillian Michaels DVD.

Good luck everyone - keep up the good work

    hi all,

Breakfast - 2 toast with peanut butter (because DH was having it) coffee
    Snack - grapes
Lunch - leftover rice and curry sauce (from last night) yoghurt
Tea - turkey fajitas. No salad in so not sure whether to serve one wrap with wedges or just have 2 wraps.
Drinking water as I've no cordial.

    No exercise planned though :(

Food wise it haven't been very good. Still haven't managed to go shopping so just been rummaging through the freezer :o been really busy!! Did manage a bit of exercise yesterday though.

Day off today but spent it so far sorting sons room before he gets home, might actually be able to include it as exercise!!

Everyone seems to be doing really well :T very inspiring

Thanks his missus, I don't feel so guilty now ;) I suppose I shall still have to do some later though as I have committed myself in writing :)

Would just like to add my thanks to everyone else's to Fmess for starting this thread. It's making me think about what I'm going to do exercise-wise each day.

We had a thunderstorm here yesterday evening, so no walkies for me. Today I've done another wallpaper stripping session - it's a bit like a workout and sauna combined once the steam stripper gets going. OH and I also took the train into Leeds, so add in a walk to the station, walking round Leeds, and walking home again. Not exactly record-breaking stuff, but better than sitting on our arrises at home.

I think I'll do another quick strip this evening (oh stop it...), then tomorrow if I can't get out for a walk then the exercise mat is coming out and I'll do some Pilates. I have a Wii Fit somewhere, but we haven't re-commissioned it since we moved in here nearly a year ago - really should get round to it...

My aim exercise-wise is to do some weight-bearing exercise to stave off osteoporosis, but also to include some work to increase my flexibility and my stamina. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Forgot to say - food today has been

Breakfast - Alpen original with semi-skimmed milk, a couple of tablespoons of live full-fat natural yogurt and a banana. Cup of tea with semi-skimmed milk and one teaspoon of unrefined sugar.

Mid morning - black coffee with one sugar

Lunch - cheese and pickle sandwiches on wholemeal bread with real butter.

Mid- afternoon - standard mocha courtesy of cafe nero (I'd filled my loyalty card - it would have been rude not to).

Dinner - fillet of sea bass with Jersey royal potatoes, mange toute and spinach, with parsley sauce (made with real butter, semi-skimmed milk and home-grown parsley). Full-fat cherry yogurt for pudding.

By the end of the day I'll also have drunk a 750ml bottle of water.

Not very good re 5 a day (or whatever it's meant to be these days) - just a banana, some spinach and some mange toute. I don't think you can really count the dried fruit in the muesli or the cherries in the yogurt. Must try harder.

Does scootering count as exercise?? Took dd to the dentist and we both scootered - it's surprisingly hard work!

    bfast - cott ch medley
lunch - pea, spinach and rocket soup, carrot and hummous, 2 hb egg with mayo, grapes
tea - own 'satay' chicken: coconut oil, onion, garlic, peanut butter, water, ginger, chili powder, water, with rocket (all gone now - phew!) and chips, cott ch and cream mix
snacks - 2 apple, almond, brazil, pistachio, handful sultana, nibble cheese

All in all, too much snacking! And it wasn't because I was peckish or hungry. Just greedy :o! But an active enough day.

I went for my run after my dog walk today and used the walk as a warm up, it has rained here all day pretty much and is cold too but the run soon warmed me up.
