Well done apple muncher
Thank you trailingspouse. I'm sorry to say I have had a day with very little exercise and too much food.
Breakfast - 2 slices of eggy bread
Snack - yoghurt and crisps
Lunch - jacket potato, butter and cheese (I'm cringing now, I'm writing it all down!)
Snack - sandwich!!
Dinner - Bolognese mince, topped with cheese
Pudding - mars ice cream
Snack - Jaffa cakes
Oh dear!!! That is a long and very unhealthy list! I wish I had written it as I went along and it would have put me off eating anything else.
I must get back to eating better tomorrow and some exercise. The rain meant no dog walking today (with 4 dogs, walking in the rain is not worth the hassle and the mess!).
I aim to go to the gym at least 2 times over the 3 day weekend and to dog walk everyday. I can't wait for next Friday evening (when the kids break up for the exams) and I can have 'normal' life again until September

Definitely here to support, encourage and confess, for me this thread is about accountability for my choices and awareness
No room for tutting! Definitely helping me to make better choices as I don't want to remain as unfit and wobbly as I am currently!
Long workday 12 1/2 hours so no exercise (apart from power walk to meetings in another office!) but will be doing some tomorrow and over the weekend, not sure what yet but Dolly inspired me - I found my skipping rope last night so I might challenge myself with that for some cardio.
I'm also trying to eat clean and have set myself a 25 day challenge for the month will report back on progress!
Food: Br: Stewed apple, natural yoghurt and pumpkin seeds.
Lunch: Left over beef stirfry.
Dinner: pork, butter fried leeks and roasted veg. Handful of almonds.
Snack: one piece of fudge, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes. (resisted the office birthday cake!) Two black coffees and a lot of water!
Sweet dreams all0 -
Thank you apple muncher and oldestgnome. I wish I could explain why some days I have willpower and other days it escapes me and I seem to have no self control.

Great stuff everyone - it's not easy but sounds like you're doing so well!
Didn't get chance to post yesterday but was a very 'packet food' day. Cereal bar for breakfast, 'mugshot' for lunch, and bolognese and spaghetti for tea. Not much veg so must do better!
Today wasn't brilliant, but consisted of:
Breakfast: Banana
Lunch: Beef Sandwich on Seed Bread, Shape Yoghurt
Tea: Chicken curry and rice
Supper: Cereal bar (low fat)
1/2 hour walk but little else exercise wise. Don't think I've found my 'mojo' yet, but I'm not overeating, so fingers crossed I'll see a weightloss

Tomorrow is another day
I'm the same but worse
Honestly I'm not joking at all, one day I ate chocolate and crisps and nothing else!! My OH quizzed me about what I'd eaten for each meal and the answer was either chocolate or crisps, it wasn't even Easter or Christmas!! Not a single piece of fruit or veg passed my lips
I can go for weeks eating really well, feeling great and the BOOM!! I just kind of stop caring. The worst feeling is that I can do it but something inside me snaps and I can't seem to keep my hand out of the biscuit tin
I'm doing the shopping tomorrow so hopefully that'll give me a big fat kick in my big fat bum that I need lol.Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I want to join too!
I have a personal trainer, who I try to see every 2-3 weeks, as well as going to the gym by myself.
I started off about 73kg and I'm now about 71.5kg. But I put on muscle. My body fat was a horrendous 51.8% and about 18% muscle!! Now I'm about 49% fat and 21.5% muscle. Based on the expensive machine my personal trainer uses.
My waist is 41 inches. 1.5 inches less than when I started.
I am looking to get fit and lose weight. My brother's wedding is in 2 months, so hope to lose at least another inch or two around my waist by then.0 -
Melonade we all have day's like that..well most women I know do and scootering is definitely exercise in my book so is hovering & ironing basically anything that removes me off the sofa.
Morning all
Manic day ahead especially bad since it's bank holiday on Monday so a lot of my Monday clients are booked in today, circuit training tonight for exercise.
Cleared another bag of clothes to the charity bank yesterday. im also giving project 333 a bash this year due to downside of all this losing weigh/fitness as im running out of clothes that fit, usually for me I haven't completely lost my boobs I've always tended to lose weight top down I've put this down to the mix of strength training over just cardio exercises.
Food
Bfast grapes& melon
Lunch something with mushrooms most likely omelette & salad
Tea halloumi, red peppers, coleslaw & beetroot salad
everything that needs using up
snacks almond butter and crackers & banana0 -

Thank you for sharing Melonade, I think we sound about equal in our chocolate addiction! Until January I had chocolate at least twice a day and I eat it all as soon as I get, no matter how large the bar/bag/box. Easter hasn't helped although it was my own fault as I got given two eggs but bought myself three others!
I've decided that Friday is going to be my official weigh in day as I often have my once a week treat meal at the weekend. When I lost over a stone at the beginning of the year, I weighed on Friday's so I want to go back to this successful approach! So today I am 9st12lbs! I can't quite believe it! I according to my scales I have lost 5lbs since starting this thread :j That's a great boost in confidenceJust need to lose 2lbs more and I'll be the lightest I've been for the last 4 years
Keep going everyone! I've got a work birthday (cakes will be present) and a celebratory meal out tonight to contend with today. Hoping all the cakes contain gluten as that'll make my decision for me! Planning on having chicken or steak and salad when out.

Hi Guys
Yesterday I was sooo busy with work and I had to baby sit my mums kids and we ended up treating them to mc donalds... to be fair I had forgot to eat lunch(I was that busy) so my day was basically
Breakfast : 2 slices of toast eggs and beans
Tea: McDs
Snacks: Had about 5 of those chocolate bites in my cupboard >< & quite a bit of pepsi but sometimes its the drinks that have the hidden calories hey
On the plus side we did walk to Mcds which is about 40min both ways total...so least I got some exercise.People don't know what they want until you show them.0
