Hello everyone, hope you've all had a good day.
Today has been a definite improvement on yesterday's food intake, muesli with skimmed milk for breakfast, wholegrain ham and coleslaw baguette for lunch and a mini packet of twiglets and dinner will be chicken fajitas, with natural yoghurt instead of sour cream
Okay now for the not so good news, I haven't done any exercise today and am sitting here with a glass of lovely chilled rose wine so I doubt I'll be doing any either. To be honest my OH is in one of his really grumpy moods today, right now nothing I do is right and I'm currently being treated to the silent treatment, he'll snap out of it in a few days time hopefully but for now I just have to put up with it. I really should have reached for my trainers and gone for a run but somehow it just seemed easier to pour myself a glass of wine
Bet xWorrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.0 -
not the best day for me guys
activity 2 miles walking
breakfast - oatso simple, milk, tsp golden syrup
lunch - 2 small rolls with cheese, cucumber and lite mayo, cheese and onion crisps and a caramel slice (why oh why did i eat that)
dinner - cheese and tomoato pastry slice with cheese and rice
hopefully better day tomorrow as swimming in the morning0 -
Sorry to hear your having a c rappy day Bet, mines a sulker too when he get's going..I just now enjoy the silence
Circuit training has almost broke me tonight more cardio than usual as he took it outside with the weather being so nice, has confirmed that I need to up my cardio.
Really not feeling hungry, could do with a G&T instead but will make it anyway as will be starving in an hour0 -
Wow - dolly84, where are you in God's own county? And his missus - you can't be too far away from where I am!!!
Physical activity so far today - stripped wallpaper for an hour, then went to Pilates. Absolutely fab - the fitness studio has an outside space so we pilated outside in the sunshine today. Then a quick jog round the corner to have my hair cut, and home in time for a conference call and some recreational bookkeeping. OH and I really want to go out for a walk now, but we've got someone coming to give us a quote for some work so we're stuck in until he arrives. Bother. No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
Evening all,
I love reading about your days
Well done everyone on your eating and exercising :j
Oh dear Bet at least your get some peace and quiet :rotfl:
Today has been the usual busy work day. Just finished tea, have walked the dogs and done some marking and now I'm sitting down to some planning. I did walk the dogs for about 1.5 miles today so that is a tiny bit of exercise done.
Food today has been:
breakfast = 2 slices of eggy bread
snack = light crisps
lunch = halloumi salad and yoghurt
tea = Bolognese mince and petit pois (apple muncher this is my weird food combination)

Activity-wise, it's been a good day. Over 12,000 steps and a sweaty workout too :j.
Food-wise it's not been that bad either. I did munch on some dates - they are so like toffee!! But knowing that I'd have to 'fess up on here helped me not go mad.
Bfast - cott cheese medley
Lunch - mince + chickpea mix, peas, loads of rocket
Tea - leftovers - mince mix, gnocchi, bacon, broc, leek, cott ch + cream + dr milk
Other-grapes, dates, brazils.
How often are people planning on 'weighing in'? Weekly?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Crikey you have all been busy! Really nice to read what you have been up to, it appeals to the nosey part of my character
As well as giving me ideas that I may be able to incorporate into my days! I have some almond butter - apple muncher mixing it with apple slices sounds lovely, what a great idea thanks!
First goal is to fit into a waistcoat I bought on ebay - it does up but is a little tight so gapes. 2 weeks for that one as I should only need to shift an inch or so off my tummy to achieve it.
I will 'fess up to my dreadful eating today (working from home, being very stressed workwise and a packet of dark chocolate hobnobs are not a good combination!)
I did do a Jillian Michaels workout to at least try to counteract it, drank a lot of water and have eaten more than my five a day too0 -
Mmm, dark chocolate hobnobs.
As I've said previously, I don't need to lose weight, just need to get fitter. But if I ever DID need to lose weight, it would be the fault of dark chocolate hobnobs...
Trying to drink more water, and you've just reminded me. Ta!!No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
I'm thinking of weighing in weekly apple muncher. I have a bad habit of weighing in daily and losing focus if I do not achieve quickly.
I have a massive chocolate craving at the moment, the only reason I am not eating any is that there is none in the house and I am too tired to leave the house :rotfl: I need to get some will power!
oldestgnome I always love a clothing based motivation. I am being bridesmaid twice in the next year and I would love my dresses to fit nicely, and to have some lovely pictures to look back on.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

No exercise tonight. I was going to drag Hubby out for a walk but the skies looked stormy so had a bath instead. It stayed dry so could have gone after all. Now having cuddles with princess kitty, all good for my well being.
Going to weigh in tomorrow, eek!
Trailing spouse, are you a lancashire lass (or lad) too? I thought you were on the yorkshire side of the canal?0
