Apple muncher how do you manage to stay off the biscuits and sweets in your classes. Between the things in my classroom & the goodies in the staff room I put on a of weight in term time.

Having said that, I wasn't very good last night as I had some chocolates and the only semi healthy thing I could find for breakfast was bran flakes. I have done a supermarket shop today.

The muscle under my right shoulder blade is still sore. Does anyone know what that area is called, so that I can google some exercises. I managed most of my back exercise today apart from the sit up and the press up which were too sore. Going to have a walk this afternoon.

    Food today:

    B. bran flakes, milk & coffee

    L. smoothie: watercress, spinach, hemp seeds, mango, red grapefruit, cantaloupe melon and a sprig of mint.

Yorkshirelass Did you find a solution to your bike problem?

Prudent, it's not willpower! I have to be gluten-free so cannot eat the biscuits. As for the sweets, it's usually that I've made a decision NOT to eat them. Or am having sugar-free days. However, July is currently rubbish at me keeping off the sugar, so I have had some. But once I start regularly having sugar, then my capacity for sugar growns and I can scoff soooo much of it!

I do need to get back on the sugar-free bandwagon:D. Soon!

I've already done over 11,000 steps, just at work, which has never happened before. Go me!

Thanks Dolly glad im not the only one, I had put it down to the added workout.

Kettlebells was great fun this evening, I used a 8kg instead of 12kg have some heat in my elbow joint but it's ok, will try going back to a 10kg next week think the 12kg push it a little to far to fast with the single arm workouts.

Food has been very bad 5 coffees , 1ltr of water and a small slice of birthday cake to be polite. I feel fine in myself just a little tired, but really can't face the idea of food if im still feeling like this tomorrow will make a thin veggy soup and see if I can stimulate my appetite. It's Yoga tomorrow so an easier workout :)

Congrats HDK, last-push that 7LB will be off in no time, Hope you feel better soon Yorkshirelass & Dolly.

Have a great time swimming Andy..take it easy :)

Thanks. I'm now 41 but it has felt relatively easy despite what everyone kept telling me about my age..

Used my fitness pal (free app but also website) and calorie counted. Worked on 1200 calories but ate back what I burned in exercise. Have now got many colleagues starting to use it and working for them too.

I weigh myself on my Wii fit.

Well done HDK! You really put me to shame. I started in January and lost 16lbs in 2 months but haven't lost anything since.

Today I ate everything I shouldn't and more, I've done over 14000 steps so at least I've worked some of it off ;)

Need to get done proper exercise planned in again but away all weekend with volunteering and then a crazy busy final week.

    Thanks fmess.

I think it's calorie counting, I thought it would be almost painful compared to using sw principles but I actually feel completely in control and eat loads, plus I don't feel remotely guilty about the wine, chocolate, crisps etc I consume. Happy to share my mfp name so you can check out my food diary as I tru ly eat lots, just email me.
Please note I eat back my exercise cals so feel I deserve them.

Feel like I constantly nag fellow "dieters" about under eating being as bad as over eating when wanting to lose weight.

Have done aerobics and cx works tonight
