Thanks Apple muncher, dolly and fmess.
Was excited to drop from obese to overweight several months ago but been smiley and shaking my healthy bmi body all day! My weight chart ap thinks I should be 9 stone 2 as an ideal which seems ridiculous. Although eventually 10 stone would be my eventual no hurry goal.
Brilliant weight loss dolly.
Really lovely family bike ride today, took 2 hours and was a good pace.
My current goal of running continues, was in gym early this morning and did my mile. Plus 30 mins on cross trainer.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Thank you for the welcome. I am very excited by all the changes I am making in my life just now. I have also signed up to the Frump to Fab thread as I have much to learn
Today I have done my back exercises (20 minutes) and been for a six mile cycle. I am chronically unfit, but despite the huffing and puffing I loved the cycle ride. I am a real beginner, so hoping to learn something from the more experienced cyclist here. Today was my third time out on a bike. Last time my feet got too hot, so I bought some cycling socks from Aldi and today was better.
When I came back I had a breakfast smoothie of mango, mixed berries, parsley, romaine lettuce, cucumber 2 dates, a desert spoon of almond butter, poppy seeds and chia seeds.0 -

Welcome and well done on the cycling. Some trainers with mesh panels are great for cycling if you are on the roads, if you go anywhere wet it's not so good as your feet get very wet when you ride through the water. If you find some short routes with hills you will get fit very, very quickly, then extend the length of your outings. Your back will benefit too especially around the waist area as the hills really work those muscles.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Afternoon all,
Showing my face but nothing healthy to report I am afraid. I have walked the dogs and done the cleaning, but have mainly been puppy sitting and working.
Food has been bread based as I got a gorgeous gf poppy seed bloomer yesterday, which is a massive treat for me.
Hope you have all had a lovely day and the sun has been shining where you are.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Evening all.
Congrats HDK & Hi Prudent welcome aboard
Thanks for the idea's guys will give them a bash, but Apple muncher doesn't your hair smell of vinegar or does it air off when dry? being a cabbie might put people off or send them running to the nearest chippy
Im in a grumpy with the lads washed the carpet yesterday then after decided the walls could do with a freshen-up so have spent the afternoon painting after spinning this morning, wouldn't mind so much but we are opened planned here so now have to do the kitchen area and living area as well ..it's like the forth bridge I hate painting having decided the youngest at 16 I could go back to carpet from laminate flooring maybe I should have waited till they were 30 :rotfl:
A salads for tea, broccoli, apple and walnut salad in a lemon dressing, coleslaw and potato salad and some very nice cheese and ham for the lads.
I really fancy cauliflower cheese and some fresh made crusty bread and butter, we will see after weigh-in tomorrow
Hope everyone has had a great day0 -
tori, my hair doesn't smell of vinegar! Tho it might if I used malt vinegar... Don't plan to put that to the test just yet...!
Completed Jiggle Free day 6, plus 2x the 5min tabata style workout. I was well sweaty! I'm keeping a note of how many reps I complete in the time, so I can see improvements or off-days. Or just good ol' consistency! I took my measurements at the start so am hoping for reductions by the end of the month. Hmmm. May need to 'tweak' what I've been stuffing in to my body recently....
I've had a high-carb few days recently, so want to get back on track tomorrow. Which means packing plenty of food for work. Cheese. Soup + 2hb eggs. Savoury bites + 'coleslaw'. Apple + almonds. Will that be enough??!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi everyone (guiltily eating a warm home made scone!). Woke up this morning with a headache which wouldnt go so have had a day doing paperwork and other boring but necessary stuff.
I have another cycling question. I have started cycling again, been doing about 10 miles twice a week but its really making my back ache. Is this just because I am not used to it? Bit worried because I do a desk job and the last thing I need is a bad back.
I did take a rucksack with me last time which is probably a bad idea and I called at the supermarket for some shopping (but nothing too heavy).
Oh and tori, painting, hate it. Our stairs and landing really needs painting and I am trying not to look at it. Wish I could afford a decorator!0 -
Ran 5k on treadmill today in 32 minutes, really pleased.
Yl I would check your seat and handlebar height, it's usually my bum that hurts.. Just been searching for cycle routes for new ideas. Quite a few local options found.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!
