Not a bad day, couldn't cycle as couldn't get bike out of garage but did the 50 Day Shred for the first time in well over a year! first time my back has felt well enough to take it on! So pleased with my body behaving at the moment, obviously want to tone up/lose weight but am able to do it now!
Ate OK too, not even going to touch the store cupboard question though!0 -
A hour's cardio done tonight in the gym altho gutted as it looked such a fun kettle class tonight , so booked myself on for next week will rep out with a lighter weight and see how I go.
Food not to bad today.
Bfast was a small cantaloupe melon and a slice of cheese (it was sat in the fridge looking lonesome)
Lunch mushroom omelette & beans
Tea cheese salad sandwich, apple and chocolate milk.
Shower and to bed for me, Night all.0 -
Can I join? I am lucky because I dont really need to loose weight but now in my mid-forties I could do with getting fitter and toning up. Up until a year ago I was running regularly and doing bits of cycling and long dog walks. A change in job meant that it all ground to a halt and other than a bit of dog walking I dont do anything at all now. My diet could be better too.
Getting into summer clothes has made me realise there are flabby bits appearing but I need some encouragement!0 -

HI YORKSHIRELASS, it is amazing what we can hide under layers in winter
Deep breaths Fmess almost the end of term sounds like you and Apple muncher have a fair amount of stress going -on.
Beautiful weather today here already I hope you get your bike out GETCARTER so you can make the most.
Yoga for me tonight and I did a home quicky this morning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0GT6daJg3o can't half feel it im not the best at early morning workouts, well TBH im not the best early morning person full-stop
Food today.
Bfast Strawberry's, pineapple, apples, banana's & blueberry's with Greek yoghurt.
Lunch Same fruit again with spinach, red pepper and feta cheese and balsamic dressing.
Tea plum tom's on wholemeal toast.
I got all excited with the fruit on offer over the summer months and bought far to much, really need to cut down the fruit and add more veg.
Have a great day everyone.0 -
Jiggle Free day 3 took me 2 mins 07! So I then did her 5 min workout - twice! I know I have worked out! And am also trying to keep my step count high, which basically means that i am not sitting on my bottom, but moving!
Ate more breakfast so am not yet ravenous for my lunch - result! Half of today is teaching sixth form and I only have 1 student. He is working on writing about Monet and Impressionism, so it's an easy day so far! However, off to do year 8 reluctant latin in 5 mins...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Welcome aboard. I live in Yorkshire too. No excuse to not get your bike out this weekend, its blooming mental round here gearing up for Saturday.
I have been to the gym this morning, I did, 15 minutes on the treadmill, jogging on the flat to start then uphill, then 2000m on the rowing machine, crunches, russian twists with a 4kg medicine ball and proper sit ups, then 10 minutes HIIT on the treadmill.
I will walk the dog but not quite as long a walk as usual due to work.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hello aggypanthus. For me, the 100g cheese really does make a difference! My breakfast is currently about 200g cottage cheese + 20g ground almond + 3g cinnamon. This fills me up, but I eat it at 6am, so by 10am (if not before!) I'm hungry. I bring the cheese to work and can eat it here before the kiddies arrive. Then at breaktime (11am) I have an apple + almonds. Then lunch at 1.
Ha ha! Reading that through, it must seem like I never stop eating! :rotfl:
Btw I teach French and Spanish and have done Latin since Christmas to years 5-9. Am happily not continuing with the Latin in September.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
