Day 1/14 complete and successful! No sugar or grains. Dh took us out to a bbq at a friend's house where they cooked my meat first to avoid cross-contamination. Yummy!
Another NSD to boot, but prob not made the step count. So £2 to the pot.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Thanks Tori and Dolly for your replies. Yes I am on the mend at last. I am lucky we can afford nice food, loving deli turkey cut off the bone with either veg or salads, but its very expensive. Also love fresh salmon.
My best bet for getting movng is walking for now , am only just now able to do bending down tasks ie emptying dishwasher and washer.0 -

Glad you are on the mend
What about trying something like aqua aerobics when you are able to move and bend a little more? I do it and love it because you can do it to a level that suits you. Perhaps start with swimming?
Food not great this evening but not awful eitherthe weather looks beautiful tomorrow so I'm going to aim to run before work when it's cooler!

aggypanthus - I have a close friend who had breast cancer a few years ago and it took quite a long time for her arm movement to get back to normal due to lymph nodes being removed (I think), she couldn't lift things or even write/type for any length of time. Walking is fantastic, you can increase the pace in intervals as you go then drop it back just like runners do, it doesn't cause stress to your body and is good for your bones. Maybe time a route then start trying to do it faster.
Today is my usual dog walking (although I think he would rather lay down somewhere cool for the day), then the gym in the afternoon. No more exercise than that planned for today. My bum is feeling the effects of so much cycling - it is much less comfy to sit on now - less padding:rotfl:.
B/F - mini weetabix, soya milk, milk roll crust toasted with flora, coffee.
Lunch - 2 x W/M pittas, chicken salad, mayo, banana and yoghurt.
Tea - fresh salmon and potato wedges or rice.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
