Well done HDK.
Feeling almost back to normal, skipped work a couple hours early to get the grass cut, a bit of last min exercise before weigh-in at 5pm
Haven't done a lot this exercise over the last week, but food hasn't been that bad so hoping for a small loss or maintain would be ideal, as this weekend plan just involves sitting by the pool, drinking sangria and filling my face full of tapas....im allow to do this as it's rejuvenating the spirit as well as the body
Better go get this grass cut..or add a burnt out car to complete the look :rotfl:
Hope your feeling better Apple muncher.0 -
Well done HDK
Today has been ok but a bit carb heavy, although I was attempting to eat up some new potatoes by having them as mini jackets with low fat cheese spread and salad.
Done 8000 ish steps so far so should meet target by tonight. No other exercise as volunteering later and been working all day.
Really looking forward to weighing in next week as feel positive about sticking to a healthier diet this week.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hello ladies,
how do you manage to stop eating for the day? Daytimes are fine then I get cravings to eat in bed late atnight. I am a very late sleeper and watch tv in bed.
I go for crisps or biscuits.
I wont buy more crisps from now, buti like a bicy with meds in the morning.
I am a hopeless dieter, just below 13st now, middle age expansion is a reality.0 -
I don't aggypanthus I don't start looking for food till after 11am, 8pm is my danger time so keep things like fruit to hand to pick at, A highlight hot chocolate sorts my chocolate fix if wanted (tho im more a savoury girl) I find the night I have a gym class is better as I don't tend to look for food after i've eaten my main meal. The very easiest option is it's very rare that im not in bed by 10.30PM latest I find when im tired my brain tells me im hungry, I get up at 5am most days to get myself sorted for the day ahead. when I eat I eat portion control is a issue for me but with the amount of F&V and looking at the way I cook foods (slimming world chips been a lifesaver) means I can fill me boots
1/2LB gain for me this week, I can live with that but looking forward to circuit training tomorrow0 -
Not got up to 10k steps today, as I scooted to pick up dd, then scooted most of the way back too, as she wanted to walk!
Not got up to 10 veg either, as the green soup was beyond its best by lunchtime - yuk! I need to start putting a freezer block in lunch bag.
But I have kept off the sugar :T and had another NSD :T, so £2 into the kitty today
]Fmess[/B], I may change my mind about what I buy with the post money! My dsd1 + 2 and dss gave me some amaz0n vouchers for my bday, so I may use them for fitness kit, and the cash for summer footwear... So many possibilities! I put £20 in the pot last week, so potentially a really expensive pair...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
PS my head is better, thank you. Made sure I wore my sunglasses and cap when driving or outside.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Ah,, are most of you here on Sw? I couldnt last more than 3 weeks on a formal diet, tried it. My portions are small usually, so cutting out the baddies should fix me, some hope:D70 -
No I think it's just me on the SW. TBH I only follow the diet loosely but do have to say i've lost 28LBS since January, staying to group has really been the key rather than the diet itself as that helps keep me on the straight and narrow. I lack self discipline so both SW and my Gym membership has kept me focused on my goals.
The exercise has been the real bonus been a long time since I have felt this healthy, my arthritis flared up last week it's the first big inflammation flare-up i've had this year but i've recovered faster than I ever have before.
With the risk of sounding really cheesy. I feel great, im comfortable in my own skin for the first time in years, it's had a real impact on my self confidence, im growing old disgracefully in Lycra and loving it0 -
Think sustainability is the key, so only cut out or reduce what you would be happy to do for life, makes it take longer but more doable. I calorie count which may seem stricter but I have found it easier as I work in my treats and feel guilt free. I literally have no banned foods and really enjoy / feel full on what I eat. I frequently put my food in the night before if I want to fit in a cheeky few glasses of wine etc, then work my day round it.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... That doesn't sound cheesy, it sounds wonderfulWell done on all your hard work!
aggypanthus I try to follow most of the rules in The Skinny Rules book, it really works for me, as long as is tick to it. I also love having a gym membership so I can go to classes or swim or go on the equipment whenever I like, especially if the weather is bad.
Managed over 12000 steps today but ate carp this evening! Why do I do it!
Tomorrow is a body combat class after workI love this class and it looks like rain is forecast so will be good to stay inside.
