Morning all.
Got weighed this morning and have lost 1lb, I think this is due to the week before last when I didn't lose any due to TOTM rather than last week when I was away.
I now have 7 weeks of normal routine before the kids break up for summer, we are away for two separate weeks in summer and these will be another challenge with regards to weight loss. I need to make the next 7 weeks count.
Today I have lots of jobs to get done and then an 8 mile bike ride planned before tea.
B/F - HM porridge with soya milk & nutella, w/m toast and marmalade, 2 x coffee.
Lunch - 2 slices w/m bread, cheese, salad, flora, fruit & yoghurt.
Tea - HM Pizza
Supper - 1/2 portion curry and sides (today is treat day)
Have a lovely day everyone.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Yestersay's descent into a sugarfest doesn't seem to have done toooo much damage!
Have done a workout, ZWOW 11, which I modified a bit as my calf reminded me that is it not yet fully better! So it was 10 mins of 20 squat jumps, 10 sumo press ups and 20 side lunges.
bfast - cott cheese medley
lunch - 2 boiled egg, 2 sm toast (only ever seem to get small slices in the gf range!) with marmite, apple + cheese
tea - ?
Will try to keep moving, as my steps are nowhere near Fmess's totals!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Breakfast - toast
Lunch - jacket potato with bacon and Brie and salad but left quite a bit of it as it was not very nice
Snack - Mcflurry
Hope you all have more willpower than meLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Long Post Alert
Three weeks ago I felt I was going through a bit of a 'confidence crisis'. I felt fat, flabby and very sorry for myself even though I realised that no one else had made me like this, just me.I was reading this thread and it was just the kick up the bottom I needed.
I'm 44 years old, 5ft 3in and weigh 10 stone.I'm a curvy pear shape that I've pretty much been my entire life (bottom heavy).
I'm happiest between 9 & 9 1/2 stone, but that seems soooo hard to maintain.I walk the dogs for about 1hr everyday but my body is too flabby . I eat healthy-ish, just too much of it.
So, after reading about all the exercise everyone was doing, I went to a couple of gyms and at one private gym managed to get 4 free passes to group classes (I mentioned the try before you buy stuff).
This week I have tried-LBT, spin, pilates and body pump. I didn't enjoy the spin class, but there's a 'FitSteps' and a zumba that I'm keen to try. Anyway I have muscle fatigue but don't feel horrendous. I have also cut down on carbs (no bread or pasta) because I know it doesn't help my cause -beach body and beyond.
Just wanted to say thankyou to the OP and all of the followers.
I feel so much more like me:DJo x:A0 -
Well done irchy mum on the changes you've made
Did you decide to join the gym? I'm loving the classes at mine at the moment
Glad we could be of help
Please stick around and let us know how you get on. I'm glad you are feeling more like you
apple muncher willpower does not reside in my house today (curry for tea!)
I have done nearly 13000 steps today, even though I forgot to wear it whilst I washed the cars as I changed into scruffy trousers. Think I may ache tomorrow as the weights class is starting to take effect!
I am going to make myself a challenge for June;
1. I will be 9st 7lbs or less by 30th June
2. I will do at least 11000 steps a day
3. I will go to the gym at least twice a week
4. I will eat 5 fruit and veg a day
5. I will try one new food or recipe each week
I have a very busy second half of June so need to ensure I keep on track. I must remember work is work, its not my whole life.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Evening... or morning, sorry, didn't realise it was so late.
So.... challenge achieved for May: I actually lost 10lbs instead of 8lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:j
I wear men's combat trousers for comfort so please excuse this appearing weird but... I have also gone from a size 40 to a size 38. Just in time for the holidays.
Not only that but I can get the size 36's on (my original size) and fastened. Due to my low self-esteemy sort of ways, I feel they are too tight around the thighs to wear at the moment but I will keep working on it.
Without sounding awful and smug... It feel pretty good to be me right now.
Aim for June... Now June will be a challenge as we are on holiday for the first two weeks (a wedding in the first week and a festival for the second). So I need to be sensible...
June's goals
* Lose 6lbs (seems fair and would take me to over a stone lost).
* Get into the size 36 combats.
I think this is achievable as the last thing I want to do is set an unreasonable goal and then make myself miserable and give up because I didn't achieve it.

Morning
Well done stewby that's fantastic!
What lovely weatherSuch a welcome change from the rain and dull grey skies.
My starting weight for June is 9st 13lbs so managed to put on 2lbs in 3 days by eating carp. I know I'm 9st 11lbs when eating properly so I'm aiming to get to 9st 7lbs by the end of the month.
I have learnt my lesson and won't be baking again anytime soon, as I know I can't resist them.
Going out with my family today so hoping there will be no food temptations along the way. I might pack some gf snacks as we're out over lunch but not arrange anything regarding eating.
Aching quite a bit today but quite pleased as it means I did work hard at my class and must be using my muscles!

Rabbit,rabbit,white rabbit
Congrats Stewby & Fmess May has been a success, My weigh in day is tomorrow at SW I don't have any home scales.
May has been a learning curve with writing things down I can see I eat far to much fruit to veg and not enough water, so will either set myself a time or cup limit on the caffeine. it's also time I took portion control on board I do eat mostly very healthy but do load my plate so will maybe look at eating more smaller meals over 3 bigger ones.
Food
Bfast, Greek yogurt & blueberry's
Lunch, soy/linseed bread, Swiss cheese & salad
Tea, New potatoes, boiled egg & cheese & salad.
Snacks frozen banana
Have a great day everyone0 -
I was thinking about goals for this week, as I can't even tell you what I put last week!! Shame on me!
- It's exam week at work, so less moving than normal, so I shall do 10k steps every day.
- I shall do 3 sweaty workouts by the 7th
- I shall eat 10 veg every day (soup, beware!)
- I shall not consume any sugar
And for every workout, 10k step, 10 veg, no sugar, NSD, I'll put £1 into a pot. For every 1lb I lose, I'll add £10 this month. Let'e hope there's some money in there by the 30th!!
Well done stewby - awesome :T. And well done Fmess too :T.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
