    Well done on passing your exam kayalana :j

    I like your idea of adding up the total on the 31st apple muncher

    Today has been a fairly good day; did an exercise class this morning and walked around town, however didn't get out dog walking this afternoon due to the continual rain.

    Tomorrow I will either go in the gym, do another class or go on a long walk with my family and the dogs. Hopefully I'll get all the dogs walked as well if the weather permits it. I have also booked in classes for Monday and Tuesday as I have a little more time on these evenings and it looks like it'll be raining so I doubt I'll go running.

    Eating wise has been better - snacks :);

    Breakfast - bacon sandwich (luckily gluten free bread is tiny)
    Lunch - brie, roasted red pepper and rocket sandwich, and a small slice of blueberry and lemon cake
    Tea - sausages, peas and gravy (no cheesy mash for me)

    Just drank water all day so no calories from drink.

    Hope you've all had a good day

    Hello, does anyone mind if I join in please?

    I am currently 10st 13lbs and my goal is to get to 10st. However, I want muscle definition, so as long as I feel fit and have defined muscle and am 10st or less (not sure how achievable that is as muscle is more dense than fat) then i'll be happy :)

    I am about to join my local gym and aim to go 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri). I would also like to try some of the classes.

    I love healthy food, but have a big problem with my sweet tooth and crave sugar a LOT. I am getting it under control though, slowly but surely!

    Todays food is going to consist of:

    Breakfast- Porridge with 1tsp of PB and a handful of frozen blueberries.

    Lunch- Wholemeal pitta bread (or wrap) stuffed with ham salad.

    Dinner- Leftovers. Not the most healthy, as it'll be using up processed stuff from the freezer. But it needs to be eaten up. So things like mini spring rolls, popcorn chicken, with rice and salad.

    Welcome wantobeSE

    Morning all

    Just had a lovely lie in and feel ready for the day. The main aim today is to avoid the sweet food. Tonight is my treat meal so planning on having lasagne with salad. Breakfast has been one slice of toast with low fat spread and a yoghurt.

    Also planning on doing plenty of housework for exercise and a gym visit as it looks like rain for most of the day :(

    Morning all (just)

    Hello again to WantToBeSE, be good to have someone share the pasty dilemma with :)

    Off spinning in a while all the offspring have decided to join us, so will be fun it's ages since we had a family day now they have grown, altho no swimming afterwards for me as im going to cook a roast ..(least they can wash the dishes)

    I had a work run this morning so had brunch rather than breakfast of a toasted cheese sandwich (wholemeal bread) really not hungry today to much coffee at a guess but know better then to go the gym on a empty stomach when you pass the co-op on the way home. have a mass of veg for dinner later. kids will be having pork and DH some quorn (vile stuff) frozen yogurt and fruit for those of us on diet, ice cream for those not. not the greatest meal plan, but then I just can't be bothered with food today TBH, don't have much in the way of munchies in the house so should be safe later :D

    Have a great day everybody.

    :j Got myself another workout in the bag. :j

    ZWOW #9. I did 3x
    -10 Santana push up with 180 jump
    -10x 3 mini sumo squat + tuck jump
    - 30 crab toe touch
    - 20 low jack

    Took me 10m 38. But I confess I bottled out of the planned one as it took Zuzana 28 mins and I wasn't mentally ready for that amount of exertion! I'll save it for Tuesday. Honest!

    Whilst working out, I realised that it's 54 days til our school sports day. I'd like to look at least half-decent in sports kit...! Tho I think I think this every year! :D

  • Afternoon all! A couple of days in and it's a bit mixed - some very healthy stuff followed by some not so much! I had a lovely tea on Friday of stuffed peppers (it was supposed to be just me and hubby having chicken curry but the kids decided to come home for tea at the last minute!). The stuffing was made up of couscous, allspice, onions, sultanas and soybeans and topped off with hm breadcrumbs and grated cheese. So reasonably healthy. However, pudding was a Magnum Infiniti!

    Lunch yesterday was lo stuffed peppers followed by a superduper healthy smoothie - Greek yog, banana, fresh juice, ground flaxseeds and barleygrass powder. Then for a snack I had a coffee and hm bounty bar! With a McD for tea (meh) and two rather large glasses of Baileys Orange Truffle. Oh dear but it is the weekend! I also didnt get any exercise as it was tipping down.

    And Ive come to the conclusion that you cant trust bathroom scales. I weighed myself when I got up and I was 10st 7.5lb. Lovely I thought. Had a cup of coffee and a couple of Ryvita then weighed myself again (I dont know why...) and Id put ON 1.5lb!!! How is that possible?! So I think Ill step away from the scales and only go on once a week or maybe even a fortnight.

    Afternoon,

    Apple muncher you have to wear sports kit in sports day? Do you have to compete too?

    Good day so far :)

    Breakfast was as above (toast and yoghurt)
    Went out for lunch but stuck to chicken breast with halloumi and ratatouille (no chips or rice, even though I was massively tempted)
    Snacked on a few grapes too.

    Just got back from the gym, did a 25 minute swim followed by some time in the jacuzzi and sauna. Have two aerobics classes over the next two days so needed something different today (and my gym kit was in the wash!). Doesn't look like we're going to get out for a walk today but I am in the process of hoovering the house, if that count?!

    fmess, no we don't have to wear kit! Or compete! There is usually a sixth form v staff race, but I've never been invited to join in! This year I'm hoping to beat my triple jump personal record of 7m25. Of course, weighing less will mean I can fling myself a little further into the sand... I'm not expecting to be up the lycra-wearing-in-front-of-pupils look this year...!

    Did warn you it would be two posts together... this is today:

    Evening.
    I have been a little naughty today but think I can save it.

    Breakfast: 2x skinless sausages. 2x poached eggs. wee bit of beans. 2x bread.
    Lunch: Burgler king. (I had ordered a small cheese burger [360cal] but they messed up and I ended up with a cheesy whopper. This meant I only had the bottom bun, two burger and the cheese as I don't like mayo or salad).
    Dinner: special k biscuits.
    Snacks: lots of juice (sugar free diluting juice) and water.

    11.05.14:
    calories = 1232, (non-starve day).
    exercise = 157 calories lost.
    Phew.

    Official weigh day tomorrow... Fingers crossed.
