    Evening everyone.

I am feeling really proud of myself today... was working for 12 hours and they had heaps of sweets and biscuits sitting out including my favourite ones.

Lunch: chicken soup, egg sandwich, 1tbsp salad cream.
Supper: chicken dippers, rice, bbq sauce.

Need to get an accurate scales as I am one of those people if I lose 2 pound I will stay motivated where as I gain a couple it puts me off..

Anyway, yesterday consisted of about 1,300 kcals total according to my fitness app and did a half hour walk.

Got on scales today and I am down from 13 6 to 13 3 .. (originally started this on 13 so its not really a whoopiee moment) but at least its not saying I've gained near half a stone again..just 3 pound now...

Kinda wished I had not had my breakfast now after seeing that (2 bacon/eggs fried with beans on toast) but I have been feeling quite weak with my diet and I have an exam today at 1pm so didn't want to be feeling hungry / tired etc...but I will skip dinner and not eat again till tea now even though that won't really make up for it I bet their was 1000 kcals in that meal alone plus had quite a bit of full fat milk this morning... *sigh*

Start again tomorrow but won't go more mad then I have already!

The weather forecast was not good today but it hasn't turned out that bad so far. I walked the dog early today for about 45 minutes and have cycled for 45 minutes too. Tomorrow is a rest day and I am looking forward to it.

Kayalana - hope your exam went well.

B/F - mini weetabix, soya milk, hot cross bun, flora & coffee

Lunch - cous cous and tiny bit of ham, wholemeal pitta, fruit & yoghurt

Tea - small chicken burger, toasted english muffin, salad and wedges.

    Snacks - fruit.

Thanks tori, unfortunately today has been worse than yesterday. It's the last day for my form group and lots of my classes at school and they all like to bring in cakes and snacks to eat in their final lesson. My lovely colleague also bought in biscuits and bought me gf ones which was very kind and I had several.

No exercise today, jst putting my feet up for 30 minutes in between school and tutoring. OH kindly walked the boys so I don't have to go out in the rain

It turned into an adrenaline-fueled day today and I'm still getting it out of my system!

I'd had hassle arranging a pupil's Italian speaking test - with an external person. This person had cacelled last Friday so I re-arranged for yesterday, a day with no slack in it. That went ok. Then today I tried to copy it to the system and couldn't get the pc to even read the SD card. Was going to try itin another pc, then discovered I'd no longer got it. Aaaaaaaaargh! Big panic and scurrying around. I was running around all the places i'd been - and those I'd not been - asking the pupils if they'd seen it. No joy. Then I started going round all the classes and was told by a kiddie that x had it and had shown it to them in their lesson with x. So now I'm hunting for x who I cannot find until a sixth former suggests her office. X isn't there, but the SD card and reader is. Phew! My immediate thought was 'why did x keep hold of it, as I had been in the classroom next door? It was labelled with MFL on it.'

Anyhow, sorry for the outpouring! It's done, on the system and burned onto CD now.

Why tell you this? Because I resisted the sweets I had for the kids with me, even deliberating with myself about it. Any sugar would have sent me sky high! So I sensibly ate my lunch instead :T.

Bfast was the usual cottage cheese medley
Lunch - 2 hb eggs, hummous and carrots, 2-3oz nuts, 2 apples
    Tea - ?
Snacks - 2 crusts with butter and marmite - twas either that or sugar!!

Reading what people eat, I'm aware just how much I down! We'll see if the scales like me tomorrow...

As you said it's the last day & tomorrow is another Fmess, This year we opted due to work commitments long weekends every 12 weeks instead of a family holiday, we are off to Spain for a few days next month the diet is off the table for those few days different regional food's and drink is all part of the experience of travel to me, when im home I will be straight back on plan, slow and steady, this is a lifelong commitment to healthy eating for all of us none of us can go back to eating the way we did before or the weight will just yo-yo back on.

Never feel guilty Fmess if your going to have a treat then enjoy it, the danger comes when the brain say s od it i've broken the diet instead of a slice of cake I may as well eat the whole thing..(been there and have the T-shirt) I used to get angry when I started SW when I wanted to lose 2lb and only lost 1, It was crazy that I fixated on the 1lb I didn't lose rather than the fact that week I had lost.
Now looking back I must have been losing the plot i've manage the lose in 4 months the weight that took me 5 years to put on, If I was anyone else I would be impressed with that :D but sadly we are always our own worse critic's.

Day off work today but had a lecture thing.

Breakfast: Costa small peach lemonade (bought for me by my colleague who I drove in to the lecture).
Lunch: chicken and bacon baguette (we went out for lunch after the lecture, however I didn't have a cake so am feeling a bit proud).
Dinner: Tomato soup with two slices of bread.
Snacks: 2x special k biscuit moments - chocolate flavour and lots of juice (sugar free diluting juice).
    :)

    calories = 1206, (non-starve day).
    exercise = 157 calories lost.
    :j

Oh, I weighed myself today and have lost 3lbs... however I am not counting this officially until Monday as that is my first week up. I am pretty pleased though and am keeping my fingers crossed.

The real challenge will be tomorrow when I am back at work.

Well done on the weight loss stewby :j

apple muncher please tell me what your secret is for such amazing willpower? As soon as there is sweet food available I am drawn to it, in an almost trance like way :rotfl:

Thank you for your support tori. I am very guilty (can't stop using that word today!) of being over critical and as you say I often miss my achievements because I was focussing on a higher target. I also fall foul to that issue of eating a whole cake because I had one slice and am disappointed in myself.

I think I need to consider the psychology of this healthy eating more as I am very impulsive and often eat food quickly and then think afterwards that I shouldn't have ate it and why.

Tomorrow my aim is going to be to put everything I want to eat in my app before I eat it and then consider the consequences of eating it.

Any tips for getting my mind back on track? I can't believe I was so successful with losing weight for a few months and now I can't seem to find my way back.
