Like the thinking Apple muncher, came to the same conclusion myself.
I have no bookings after 2.30pm today so going to pull an early from work and go thru my kitchen cupboards time to take stock of what I actually have in and work some meals around the oodles of pulses and healthy food's that already have in.
Food
Bfast scrambled eggs and 5 beans (no bread)
Lunch soup from freezer (well I hope it's soup label has falling off)
Tea HM vegetable curry with roasted cauliflower ( left overs will be blended down into soup)
snacks fruit
Supposed to be swimming tonight but may skip it as im very stiff today, will see how the day goes on as it should ease as I get moving.
Have a great day everyone.0 -

Mornin'All,Well yesterday was a disaster after my post.Had it all planned what I was doing for tea, until I saw the pizza at the back of the fridge, well it did need using up ;-)had a few oven chips and a side salad. They say Rome wasn't built in a day, don't they.I've brushed that blip under the carpet.Took the dog out after work for a twenty min brisk walk, before my back started giving me jip.My mouth felt a little dry so I had 3 sweetclems.Going to cut the cals back a little today.I'll do myself some porridge later on,Bought myself some crocs walking shoes, there a bit like the skechers go walk but not as pricey, just hope they are comfy.I'll be back later, enjoy your day0

Morning all.
For those of you doing 12 hour shifts and the like and working nights I am very impressed that you can fit in meal planning and exercise too, it must be very difficult. I work part-time from home so fitting it all in is so much easier for me.
Well done to people for moving on after a blip, in the past when I have followed SW that is something I always found hard, I would have something small that wasn't in the plan for the day and then think oh well I may as well eat everything else in sight too. Now I don't have a diet or a plan so I can't really go off track and that is working a treat for me, just normal everyday food which I would be eating anyway but without loads of cakes and biscuits etc.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Well I re tried my scales and I am still coming in about 6 pound heavier...I reckon it may of been that I didn't get an accurate reading last time more then gaining 6 pounds ...as others have said my clothes still fit the same and I don't think I would be sitting in my shorts right now if I *had*....but still means I have gone over my 'most I've ever been' weight bar just before I had the baby which doesn't really count cause he was over half a stone alone!.
That said my tummy is rumbling!! (Can not actually remember the last time my tummy rumbled lol)
Yesterday was a good day I had a 255 kcal ready meal, and cottage pie for tea ~ tbh it was a large helping with a lot of mash but say if that meal was even 1200 I'd still be under 1500 for the day so I think thats good?
Realising I know nothing about losing weight, worked out this morning that the butter we use and get though about a tub and half a week is over 3000 kcals for the tub...so may try and use that less/eat less bread as I go mad with butter tbh...
So hard to keep up everyday we gain a couple extra pages!! :-)
It's interesting to know what your all eating, keep it up everyone! :-)
Plan for today;
Late Breakfast; Kids pasta (123kcals for a tinJust ate my first one..food tastes so much better when your hungry!)
Late Lunch; Same again = 246kcals
Tea: Fried Gammon steak and chips with fried egg usually..may skip the egg and ask for gammon to be grilled shall update :-)
+ I find myself looking in the fridge when I am hungry and I have put a bottle of water in their...so when I find myself opening it I simply have a drink of water so I don't walk away 100% empty handed...ok its not filling but it saves the temptation of picking something else up!People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
Deleted_User wrote: »5 beans? 5 baked beans? You counted out 5 baked beans to eat???
:rotfl: that would be a diet and a half...5 beans are a mix of Kidney, haricot, pinto, borlotti and cannellini beans rather than just navy beans that's used for baked beans TBH they taste just the same to me but are very slightly higher in protein and fibre, as a vegetarian I need to mix up my protein sources more than a meat eater this one lazy way of doing it
What a smart idea Kayalana..RE bottle of water
My afternoon booking cancelled on me so wasn't really worth working this morning, but means I get to start early on the kitchen cupboards once the voltarol kicks in...I really did overdo it yesterday im an old woman today0 -
I didn't have a great weekend food wise as I was intent on eating everything bad instead of just throwing it out. The result is that now my kitchen is only stocked with lots of healthy foods.
I've planned out my food for today and according to mfp I will have 58 cals left for the day. I am not exercising tonight as I am shattered but I have ordered an exercise dvd. Once it arrives I am hoping to do it at least 3 times a week.VSP member #250 -
Got home to discover dd wanted to stay longer at her little friend's house so I did a workout. :j. ZWOW #28 called Bodyweight Bombshell, which somehow makes me feel rather glamourous! 10 min AMRAP of 20 dragon kick, 20 jump lunge, 15 pike jump and 10 reptile pushup. I managed 2 rounds and down to 5 pike jump. Ooph!
Food has been good so far. I took in a load of biscuits and sweets for my year 11s as it was our last lesson together. I can't eat the biccies and had decided not to eat any sweets as i had sugar yesterday with my friend, which was worthwhile. But i wasn't going to lose a sugar-free day for pupils!
Bfast - cott cheese medley
Lunch - green soup with 2 hb eggs in it, hummous and carrot sticks
Tea - own mince mix with cauli and broc, cott ch pud
Snacks - grapes galore, 2 apples, cashew, almond
I'll be having a day off tough exercise tomorrow - 3 workoits in 3 days is plenty! So I plan to walk a lot, tho the forecast is grim...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Evening all,
I'm feeling very guilty as I've ate rubbish again today

Snack - the sandwich I was supposed to have for lunch!
Lunch - jacket potato with butter and cheese

So Tomorrow I pledge to only eat,
2 slices of eggy bread
Cheese spread and cucumber sandwich
Yoghurt
