I only have half a tin of beans on my jacket, would you be able to do that? Do you feel like you've gained half a stone or are your scales really out, could you weigh some sugar or flour on them to check?
tori - well done on your weight loss.
Welcome stewby - you are aiming for a similar weight loss to me.
I've been straight out on my bike from the school run, I did 45 minutes and it was a really hard route in parts. Will walk the dog for an hour later and I was going to run this evening but everything feels tired so I won't as overdoing it is not a good idea.
B/F - 2 x weetabix, soya milk, coffee
phase 2 of B/F after bike ride, slice of fruit toast, flora, coffee
Lunch - chilli and wedges, fruit and yoghurt
Tea - Salmon with chilli butter, rice.
Snacks will be fruit.
I don't feel like I've gained half a stone but then I was never good with these things, I'll weigh myself tonight and update and will find something to see if it works.
My potatoes were all uneatable ...best before date was 8th may and brought 5 from Morrisons for 69p thought it was a bargain but I guess not if they go off that quick!!
I found some small ready meal thats basically just rice sauce and a 'few' pieces of chicken so only 255 kcals :-) Not exactly filling but I am going to have to learn to go hungry instead of raiding the cupboards if I'm going to take this seriously.
In need of some serious help </3People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
Hi,I'm back after this mornings post.Had a doze after being up early and was a little hungry. If I wasn't watching what I was eating I would of had toast with my breakfast, crisps and possibly a few chocolate biscuits, therefore I wouldn't get hungry at at that time but eat anyway
just because it was 'lunchtime'.Anyway I had 2 slices of granary bread,no butter and a tin of chopped tomatoes and lots of black pepper.Took the dog out for another walk.It was about 45mins all together ,don't know who was more tired.Teatime will be a Chinese style turkey steak with salad.Glad the weather is getting better, makes me want to move more, enjoy the rest of your day everyone :-)

Kayalana do your clothes say you've put on 7lbs, If your scales are unreliable i'd work to a clothes size rather than weight.
I used to have a set of scales that told me I hadn't shifted off 9 stone despite my trousers telling me otherwise, I moaned to DH that we had to replace the washer as I must be shrinking my clothes, Laughing at my expense he jumped on the scale for it to stick at 9 stone he was around 15 stone at the timewith hindsight I should of just kept the scales:D
I could so just curl up in bed but have circuit tonight and dare not miss 1 session as it's being ramped up each week, im fine once im there it's just getting thru the door somedays, with all the bank holidays there seems to be a few of them lately.0 -
Kayalana - could it be "that t.o.m"? I usually gain a few pounds the week before...
I weighed myself this morning and I was :eek:stones and 12 lbs. At my lightest (as an adult) I was :eek:stones 5lbs so I'm working on getting that 12 to 0(and ignoring the :eek:stones for now)
Food today:
- 2 currant teacakes
- pasta, yoghurt, grapes
- ???
Going to my bessie's for tea tonight. Usually she makes spag bol and is very generous with her portions. On the plus side, we'll be crafting all night so no time to snack
Exercise - quick walk into town, not much0 -

To be honest, this is only my second day on it... however, my parents have both done this diet since January and my dad lost over 3 stones whilst my mum has lost 2 stone so far.
So I have seen it in action so to speak.
My parents tended to eat a lot of eggs... like omelettes and boiled eggs and stuff like that on the starve days. They basically had breakfast (cereal and milk) then supper (eggy stuff) and skipped lunch completely.
:undecided
I made chicken soup which has turned out really nice... and according to the "myfitnesspal" app it is only 49 calories per portion!!!!
My downfall is the love of chocolate... I have a tescimos muffin sitting in the cupboard which is calling my name (approx 560 calories) and there is also a thorntons white chocolate easter egg sitting (545 calories for 100g).
Part of me wants to bin the muffin to get rid of it but another part of me is going "keep it for tomorrow"... either that or "eat a little bit today, it won't matter".
Doesn't it suck when your own brain is trying to saboutage your hard work.
Anyways... turns out I weigh 218lbs so a wee bit better than I thought but still too heavy. Still want to lose 72lbs though.
Hope everyone else is doing well too.

Have got in over 11k steps today whilst doing the shopping, the dentist and PO and school runs.
And another of my ZWOW - no crash helmet required for this one... #2 for time, 3x
-3 man makers (love the name!!) (push up on dumbells, 2 renegade row, stand up and shoulder press) 5k DB
-10 squat thrust with squat jump
-20 breakdance push up (crab, twist to pushup, twist back)
-25 competition sit up - straight arms and froggy legs.
Took me 15 mins 40. Sweaty!!
Food has been different today. Usual breakfast, then a dear friend came over for coffee. I made some choc chip gf cookies so we each had one. She was still here at 1pm! It was good to talk! I had the dentist at 2, so just had a hb egg from the fridge with mayo before going. Then 3 oz nuts once back. I have also downed a Mrs Crimble's macaroon that a colleague gave me, and am now finishing off 2 pieces of gf licorice. Then that's my sugarfest over!
I've got the exercise under control, so I know that it is what goes in my mouth that is what needs addressing. I'm liking the posts here, and reading people's ideas and experiences, and the accountability. We'll see if the scales are my friend on Friday...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
My dad very kindly offered to take the muffin off my hands so it (and three pancakes) have left the building.
However, I did have a wee bit of the easter egg. It means that I have gone over my 600 calorie limit which has left me with dieter's remorse.
06.05.14 - 753 calories (starve day).
However, I have done about 25 minutes of brisk walking which burned off 157 calories... which according the app thing brings me down to 596 calories.
These things confuse me. Hope everyone has had a productive day.

Hello all hope everyone is ok and had a good weekend
I've not been doing too badly, had a couple of slip ups over the weekend and polished off some kettle chips OH left but I am trying to cut down on snacking, I'm loving apple slices with cashew butter spread on them
On the exercise front I did my Zumba class on Saturday and then did a lot of decorating and gardening at the weekend so hopefully that burnt a few calories.
Overall verdict I'd say not doing too badly but could do better.
Bet xWorrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.0 -
I still have a pulse, push myself a little to hard and will pay for it tomorrow, food has gone out the window a very late night and a 6am start hasn't help as my body tell's me it's hungry when I know it's really just that im tired.
Bfast big bowl of honeynut cornflakes, (didn't even really fancy it but just needed to eat)
Lunch 2 griddled eggs in tiger french stick ( courtesy of bacon dave)
Tea toasted cheese sandwich, ready salted crisp's & apple.
I really have to watch the carbs and up my protein so will try and find time to turn some beans into soup, im getting a bit egged out now and try to go easy on the nut's and seeds due to the cal count, other than cottage cheese and Greek yogurt not sure what else to eat as I don't really do soy or TVP (a texture thing) feels my whole life revolves around food...and washing

Evening all
Sorry for my absence so far today. Its been crazy busy at work and just finished doing planning and marking.
Exercise wise I have done nothing, apart from run around at work all day and food wise I know it has been bad as I have a little pot belly, feel sluggish and everything was beige - too many carbs and saturated fat
Well done everyone on your willpower. I promise to try harder tomorrowLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
