Thanks for the welcome! As per usual I havent organised breakfast and as I can't get a day started without brekkies, Ive resorted to the old standby of a slice of toasted seeded bread and marmalade and a coffee! Not the worst breakfast ever but still... I have a delicious sounding clean-eating breakfast recipe consisting of brown rice, maple syrup, spices and cherries I keep meaning to try but you know how long it takes to cook brown rice?

Today's plan - make the Cherry Breakfast Rice for tomorrow's breakfast! It's a bit dreich here today so Ill take a short walk to the sm and pick up some bits and pieces and do some baking. And the menfolk have requested an Indian curry for tea.

And the dreaded physio on my arm (recovering from a bad wrist injury and op). No pain, no gain!

Have a great day all but remember, the weekend starts here!

Update: Ive got the rice on the go after getting distracted by a hm condensed milk recipe. It turned out perfectly but for a few brown specks. And that's after seiving it. You should see the pot! I'll try and post a pic!

As you said it's the last day & tomorrow is another Fmess, This year we opted due to work commitments long weekends every 12 weeks instead of a family holiday, we are off to Spain for a few days next month the diet is off the table for those few days different regional food's and drink is all part of the experience of travel to me, when im home I will be straight back on plan, slow and steady, this is a lifelong commitment to healthy eating for all of us none of us can go back to eating the way we did before or the weight will just yo-yo back on.

Never feel guilty Fmess if your going to have a treat then enjoy it, the danger comes when the brain say s od it i've broken the diet instead of a slice of cake I may as well eat the whole thing..(been there and have the T-shirt) I used to get angry when I started SW when I wanted to lose 2lb and only lost 1, It was crazy that I fixated on the 1lb I didn't lose rather than the fact that week I had lost.
Now looking back I must have been losing the plot i've manage the lose in 4 months the weight that took me 5 years to put on, If I was anyone else I would be impressed with that :D but sadly we are always our own worse critic's.

    Very true.

Well done Stewby on your weight loss.

    Welcome newbies.

Today is weigh in day for me and I have lost 3lb, I am over the moon, I set myself a target of 8lb for May so just 3 more to go to reach that. Today is my day off exercise and I picked the right one as it is throwing it down every 5 minutes.

OHh..... yesterday was a bad day (but I passed my exam!!)

We were supposed to have Cajun chicken but the chicken was off so we opted for a takeaway...so overall yesterday was

B: Fried (2) bacon (2) eggs with beans on toast
    L : Greggs sausage roll
    T: Pizza and fried chips

I'm on holiday next week so diet will go to pot then...

well nothing gone to plan really today other than breakfast and circuit.

Did have a well rounded lunch, vegetables, dairy protein & carbs but it was in the form of a cheese&bean pasty :o so I guess that doesn't count :o

Also got busted with a packet of crisp's :o...well I did state I needed less fruit and more veg..spud is a veg after all ;)

It's all DH fault he bought the pasty's there be no more food for me today im so bloated with carb overload I feel like a weeble wobble (for those old enough to remember them) but enjoyed every mouthful.

Gale's on the way again for us, with luck may keep some roof tiles this time round off to the farm shop for goodies tomorrow gonna fill my boots with asparagus tho not sure how im going to serve it as usually have it dripping in butter, may make some Spanish omelette bites for munchies

    any idea's?

well done to those that weighed in :T

Almost hit 1350 today which is my recommended number of calories on the app I am using.
If anyone else is interested, I was recommended the "my fitness pal" app and it is really good.
It allows me to document everything I have eaten and it has a very good database of foods so that it knows the calorie content of what I eat. It also tells me how much I will weigh in 5 weeks if I continue on what I am doing which is quite good too.
You can also document what exercise you are doing and it tells you how many calories you are burning.
Highly recommended as it is really helping me keep track of my calories and has stopped me eating more a few times too.

    Hi all.

Yesterday was a lovely rest day and 1 of my 2 treat days.

B/F - oats so simple porridge, soya milk, fruit toast, flora & coffee

Lunch - 2 slices WW danish bread, cheese, lurpak, mini cheesecake & 2 chocolate digestives (lunch was at mum and dad's)

Tea - quite a lot of HM pizza, Tunnocks Teacake, cup of tea

snacks, fruit and then in the evening 1/2 a Boost bar and small packet of crisps.

I was out last night but it was at an event for DS so we were home quite early and I didn't have anything to eat or drink whilst there.

Will be cycling I think today if I get my puncture fixed if not I will run. I am pleased to say that I now call it running as I jog at the beginning to warm up and the end (shattered by then) and run in the middle. It has taken me several weeks going out about 4 times a week to build up to this, when I started I could barely manage 1 minute jogging. I'm now ready to get back out running for longer than 20 minutes and will start venturing into the woods near home and doing 45 minutes or so walking/jogging.

Have a lovely day all, eat well and enjoy any sunshine you may get.

:j Well done to the weighlosing divas out there!:j

If we all post our weightloss on the 31st, we (!?) could add it up and see what out total is...

Just done a ZWOW - a pyramid one of 5-10-15-10-5 of each exercise - and each leg if necessary:
    - split squat bodyweight jump
    - Bulgarian split squat with weights (1 used 10k total)
    - press up with superman back extension
    - skater

Took me 14 mins 46, so am glad to have cracked 15 mins.

Food intake is good so far and the scales were quite friendly this morning despite me pigging out yesterday. It was a colleagues bday and instead of the usual cake, which is easy for me to avoid, she brought in savoury - crackers, cheeses, nuts, breadstick, crisps. Scrumptious! I downed plenty of cheese, nuts and a few vegetable crisps. I ate so much that I didn't want my lunch! It was a salty intake so I spent the rest of the day drinking water!

Off for a shower and then cheesy scrambled egg and beans. May find a little veg to throw in there...
