Day 10 of no sugar marks the end of the run! Grr to self, really, as it was a colleague's cake - especially made g-f one - that I caved in for this afternoon. Ah well. I fancy the fruit + nut choc later on, then normal service will resume tomorrow!

Well done alba! Every pound matters!

Dolly, that hot chocolate sounds really nice, will have to look out for that. Could really help with my sweet cravings.

Today has been much better thank goodness. I'm still struggling with my back, but still managed my 10k steps - 12,256 to be exact! My food has been much better today as well. No unauthorised snacking and portion sizes well under control. I also got my 5 fruit and veg in, mostly veg but I think it's better to have more veg than fruit in your diet?

Today has boosted my confidence no end, and I'm back to thinking positively and that I can do this! Following on from the advice to have some smaller, short term goals, I've decided to go aim to weigh 63kg by the end of september - a loss of 2.5kg altogether. That's roughly 6lb, which I'm hoping should be acheivable! Getting back into the gym would probably help with that, but I'm being cautious with my back, son't want to make it worse.

Hope everyone is doing well. Dolly I'm very impressed at your 2 hills! I hate them with a passion! :rotfl:

Apple muncher, 10 days is a lot! I only managed to do 19 days in total in August. Do you feel any different without sugar?

Reporting 2 good days: no sugar, healthy food, ~1300kcal, little bit of movement.

I had so much sugar and stress plus lack of sleep for a few days, on Sunday I just felt exhausted and spent half of the day in a bed. Now I need to let my body have a break...

well it was a 0.5 gain for me. I need to roll my sleeves up and lose a 1LB this week.

im pretty broke this week now the months DD have gone out and that actually helps as it will keep me out of the co-op, so hit the F&V warehouse on the way home and filled my boots.

Bfast will be oatmeal with apple puree & cinnamon or eggs/ beans on wholemeal toast

Lunch (Mon-Fri) will be the usual salad box, spinach, sweetcorn, carrot, new pots, peppers, cucumber, cherry toms, beetroot feta cheese and boiled egg.

Lunch (Sat-Sun) HM leek& potato soup & roasted red pepper and chickpea soup.

    Dinners
Veg curry & pearl barley .
    veg frittata, wedges and salad
    Moroccan veg tangine with cous-cous
cheese& tom Pizza with tiger fries ( matchsticks of oven baked sweet & white potatoes)
    Roast dinner

Snacks will be apples, banana, hummus & veg, Greek yogurt & berries

Great to hear that everyone is ticking along nicely a great start to September :)

    Morning all

    Thanks applemuncher

Weighed myself yesterday and I'm back up to 10st 3lbs. I are fine auntie I got home from work and ate lots of biscuits :( however I did do over an hour of walking.

    Today's plan is
    Breakfast - toast
Lunch - Small portion of leftover lasagne
Dinner - out for dinner at the harvester so probably chicken breast, salad and new potatoes

Exercise will be another hour of dog walking in between work and going to dinner.

I'm aiming to lose 2lbs this week, wish me luck!

Fmess - I'm aiming for 2lb off this week too.

I have been for a run after the school run this morning and it was awful, I am not used to running in the morning after 6 weeks of doing it in the evening plus I had a pint of squash with breakfast and despite 3 visits to the loo before setting off I was busting the whole time I was out.

I will walk the dog for an hour today and that will be it for me as I am crazy busy with work today.

I've not been great today, ate some chocolates in the tearoom and let a colleague talk me into eating a chocolate chip muffin too! Then just got home and ate a packet of space raider crisps - 56kcal a packet so could be worse, but definitely didn't need them.

Will try to compensate with a small portion for dinner tonight. Work however was super busy. In the end I only had 15 minutes for lunch, and was so, so stressed all day (hence me caving on chocolates I'm guessing). 14,686 steps in work today! Quite a few miles there, and lots of it was going up flights of stairs, so does that count as cardio?!?! :rotfl:

Seems like a few of us are battling at the moment.

Day 3 with no sugar. Added some more calories to my menu today as yesterday mister hunger wouldn't let me sleep...

I was tempted to buy chocolate out of boredom today but I just felt so good I didn't want to ruin it.

66.6kg today. Aiming for 65kg now.

    Hi all.

I have completed a 10 mile bike ride this morning, will walk the dog for an hour in the woods after lunch and may just go for a 20 minute run tonight if I have the time.

Food was good yesterday and today should be too. I am sad the kids have gone back to school but it is nice to be back in a sensible routine.
