Day 3 with no sugar. If not for my promise, I would have eaten lots as we had special treats for a special occasion. Was thinking about eating some and then not telling you but I just didn't want to fail... Glad I resisted, will remember this feeling next time I am tempted0

Well done blue_mango!:T
I've managed day 4 of no sugar, despite several temptations at my mum's. Like being offered 3 types of ice cream for pud! Instead, I waited and then had cottage cheese mixed with ground almonds, blueberries and a banana. More fruit than usual, but certainly better than the ice creams!
aggy - glad someone has had lovely weather. The 150 mile drive took us 4 hours - cursed m25 - and most of it was in heavy rain plus spray being sprayed up from the vehicles. Yuk!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi All,
I'm still enjoying reading all of your motivational posts and trying to stay on the wagon myself.
Big thanks to tori.k for the overnight oats tip...it's now my go to midweek breakfast with chai seeds & various fruits and keeps me full until lunchtime! :j
Normally I'm being good with food but I was out lots over the long weekend which involved lots of eating & drinking & I just can't say no!!
Glad to say at least my exercise has been good. I did a Bob Harper kettlebell workout that I recorded off Fitness TV yesterday & I'm definitely feeling it today..circuit class tonight was a real struggle!
Going on holiday in three weeks so would def like to lose a few pounds in anticipation of holiday weight gain when I return!
Keep up the good work all!

I had an awful day yesterday as well, I had
A pack of Jaffa cakes
A pack of rocky road
Four slices of toast
A toastie
Italian chicken and chips
Cheese
Today was also bad
Tomorrow must be better, I am huge at the moment and it's all around my tummy, which is not surprising given the recent food binges!
I will go to the gym tomorrow and I will put all food into mfp.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Morning all.
You eating out of boredom Fmess or just having a hungry week? in the early days I found things like highlight hot chocolate drinks a Calorie saver when I fancied something sweet, as a drink or mixed with quark and fromage frais and a touch of stevia and chilled as a mousse bit high in sugar but a lot less than cake
Circuits was a right pain last night, bad form on a bent over row has thrown my back out a bit, with hindslight probably shouldn't of stayed on for legs bums an tums im more stiff then in pain so hoping it will free up as the day goes on as I have kettlebells this evening.
They are bringing insanity back to the club in September :j so I will alternate weeks with L/B/T to shake things up a bit, im getting wary of letting the fitness slide now we are coming into the dark half the year. im definitely a spring/summer gal
Have a great day everyone0 -
Boredom and gluttony I think tori. I always want to go to insanity at my gym but the name scares me. I'm not sure I'm fit enough.
Going to jump on the scales in a moment and give myself a much needed shock. Today I'm going into work for a few hours then will walk the dogs and go to the gym this afternoon.
Food will be
Breakfast - toast and yoghurt
Lunch - salad + cheese/meat
Dinner - tiny portion of lasagna with lots of vegLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I am sometimes naughty with my diet. I try to eat as clean as possible. I think if you really wanna get ishape you have to sacrifice for a while; so this includes not eating any junk food at all. I lost a stone in a month by cutting out ALL junk food. I didn't eat chocolate, crisps, cakes, biscuits, white bread, white rice (unless I was dining somewhere where it was impossible to avoid white rice), sugary cereals, sugar in tea or coffee. The only sugar I got was from fruits, and the rest of my diet consisted of brown rice, wholemeal bread, quinoa, cous cous, vegetables steamed or raw when on the go, tuna, salmon, and other fish, chicken, turkey and sometimes veggie sausages.
I exercised really hard too and made sure I left the gym sweating buckets every time. Interval running is good if you want to get fitter and slimmer quicker. You basically slow jog or brisk walk for a minute, then sprint or fast run for 20-30 seconds. Do this about 10 times and you'll see the difference after a week or two.0 -
Hi guys. I too have had a couple of binge days.
I cycled yesterday evening and boy was it hard work when I got home I had a shower then came downstairs prowling for food, I had a rice cake - not bad - then several ginger biscuits and a tiny square of millionaires shortbread. My problem is I have no routine or structure to my days and won't have until the kids go back to school on Tuesday.
I am going to have to get back on track in a big way for September so I think I will cut my treat days down to one a week instead of two.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Well done to everyone giving up sugar - not sure I'm ready for that.
I'm using MFP and though my calories are ok I need to reduce my fat and increase protein intake - I made quorn bolognese for tea but I did add some cheese. Also managed to fit in 45 min in the gym -legs hurt now!!......0 -
Kingslayer, thank you for sharing your weight loss experience
Day four with no sugar... I am thinking about setting up some money reward system for myself for all those days without sweets, nothing motivates more than money at the moment!!0
