    Morning all.

glad to report a 2.5lb loss :j it's about time as ive been dancing the tango with 1.5lb for the last few weeks, so things are on the move again.

I don't think I had been eating back enough of my workout cals as I up'd my food intake this week

Circuit training and legs, bums& tums tonight.

    Food
Toasted wmeal edam cheese sandwich & coffee
    salad box & fruit
    poached eggs& toast
    snacks apple, small chocolate milk.

Tuesday and Wednesday are my lowest food days of the week as I find the exercise kills my appetite

    Have a great day everyone

Reporting a no sugar day. It's getting harder to resist, especially because I didn't see a massive weight gain after having sweets...

How do you feel on no sugar? I've never made it past a couple of days as I get headachey but I imagine it'd be worth it if I kept going.

Yes, the first three days (I mean the very first) felt like crap, headache etc, but later on it felt GOOD!! You have a headache when you quit anything addictive, don't you :)
I still get sugar from fruits but trying not to overdo on them. Healthy fat is much better.
When I tried to get off sugar first time, I lost 2kg in 10days or so with no effort, skin got clearer, sleep was better. Now I eat paleo-ish diet so I can't say I'm healthier because of cutting sugar out, I've also cut grains and potatoes out, changed the meat quality, stopped eating ready meals, now eating more veggies...exercising sometimes :)
Sugar is causing me depressive mood swings. I used to have days when I would find a reason to cry and be sad all day and pity myself. Once a week or every two weeks. Now? Only when I eat sugar.
Had some scars that were healing much quicker if I didn't have this white poison.
Have a tooth that starts getting bad but only hurts when sweets enter my mouth.

(Have to note that very dark chocolate doesn't have any bad effect on me. )

These are just random thoughts as I am about to sleep :) but it's really worth trying sugarless diet. Google some stories.

    I may try it.

My moods are massively affected by my sugar intake as are my energy levels. The more sugar I have the more sluggish I get and the more I have mood swings.

Think I'll give it a try this weekend and see how I get on :) Thanks for sharing.

Nice to have you back HDK I was wondering where you been hiding :)

Best not to wonder to much Aggy once you've eaten it :rotfl: why not have go yourself https://www.hungry-girl.com/chew/show/2437-healthy-cashew-chicken-recipe then invite us all round for tea as tester's :D

ok, there will be a welcome in the hillside;) we can race up it!:j

Eyebright, I love peanut butter kit kats.
I never ever imagined I could control my choclate addiction, its been 40yrs since my summer job in a sweetshop:), at school my lunch money went on a pie and a galaxy bar.
I used to eat 2 large bars a day, or a box of maltesers, or 3 or 4 flakes in a row. I would dunk the galaxy in my tea:D

Dont give up.. I have finally got a grip on it and no longer crave it.

Hi all, Can I join in the fun?

Previously have been very good and over 1.5 years lost 27lbs.
I got to my fittest in April but then took my eye off the ball and started eating/drinking whatever I fancied and not attended my gym so much.

My recent split from my fianc! of 7 years initially saw me comfort eating and gaining half a stone. Decided to dust myself off and get back onto working out & eating well as I feel amazing when I do!

So new focus and motivation to try and be the best me I can be started with gym session yesterday and again today. Aiming to get running longer distances again and to attend gym four times a week at least (make sure I get my money's worth out of membership).

Due to split I should be moving in a month, so I have cancelled my personal training (expensive but very worthwhile I found) as I have a gym buddy with similar goals due to split I will need to eat the cupboards and freezers out too of lots if hoarded stuff so will be a challenge to eat healthily but will try!
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!

Welcome kittenkirst :) It sounds like you are raring to go :) Good luck with making meals from the cupboards before your move. I generally find that just buying a few vegetables to add to the cupboard stocks means you can turn most meals into healthier versions.
