Eyebright - hope you manage to get out on your bike today. It is raining here as forecast, I will go running later though, I don't mind running in the rain.

Fmess - well done on the jeans, it is a great feeling.

Eyebright have you done any of the treasure trails www.treasuretrails.co.uk/devon/things-to-do-in-dartmoor.html

There are some great ones around Dartmoor, it's a favourite of our's...but then so the breakfast at the tradesman arms...not so diet friendly :D

Oh wow! I've never seen this before, looks very interesting! We have covered a lot of Dartmoor over the years, it's a favourite place of ours to visit. Will definitely have to give this a try.

Thanks Dolly, it's been tipping it down here, which means up on the moor it will be even worse, being that it's higher up and gets pretty horrible weather! So no cycling :(

Am going to do some skipping in the garden if there's a break in the weather, and got to pop into town to find a birthday present, so will at least be moving today. Ironing also needs doing :(

Weighed myself this morning, and came in at 65.7kg, so slightly down on what I was, wohoo! Plan is to officially weigh myself each Sunday, and fingers crossed it will be down on what it now.

Think I'm going to have another omelette for breakfast :) Dinner will be something using diced turkey, which needs using up today.

    Afternoon everyone :)

As you know I've been experimenting with intermittent fasting which has helped me to limit calories and was very convenient BUT I was having a nasty acne on my face! So I am stopping it now. Was having three meals for the last two days and my face is clearing up.

You were talking about scales previously - I am using salters and it always shows 1.5kg too much when I first step on it, so i do it three times to get the right weight. Doing it every morning so I would know what is causing a weight gain.

Ladies, are any of you using youtube vidoes for workouts? Any recommendations? I quite like FitnessBlender.

    Afternoon.

Spinning done and dusted for another week I could do with putting in another cardio session over the summer as the pool is really busy at the moment but it's finding the time to fit everything in.

Had a bit of a shock when I did my measurements im no longer pear shaped but now a blinking rectangle  36,29 36 those damn squats and shoulder presses so seriously need to up the Russian twist's and lose 3 inches off the waist. does this get any easier :(

    Fmess, wow to the jeans!

Eyebright, well done on losing weight!

Blue mango, glad the 3 meals are helping your skin improve. I use utube for my ZWOWs, though I downloaded them to use.

tori, your measurements make me think more hourglass than rectangle. And hourglass is Marilyn Monroe sexy star shape!

I'm having a day off exercise today, even my beloved jumping jiggle free. We've had a couple of broken nights with dd, and I feel so weary today. So, a day of rest shall be had!

tori - I took my measurements at the beginning of July and then again at the beginning of August, my hips had gone down fractionally, my waist stayed the same and my boobs had got bigger:rotfl:, despite me having lost about 10 pounds in between.

I have been to the gym, and get this I ran there, 2 miles. I then did 2000m on the rower, sprint training on hills on the treadmill, crunches, planks, russian twists then 10 minutes on the spinning bike, I set it to the hardest resistance I could pedal at then stood up for the whole of All Time Low on the radio plus various other sprints and hills. When I got home (collected by DH in car) I walked the dog for half an hour, would have been longer but it started to rain.

I am very much looking forward to a lovely bath later.

    Evening all,

Can't believe you ran to the gym dolly!

Well done on the weight loss eyebright

Today I did 5km on the treadmill and 5km on the bike. I tried a new tactic on the treadmill and did a warm up jog for 1km, then ran as fast as I could for 2 minutes, walked for 2 minutes, ran for 4 minutes etc, until I had completed the 5km. Was nice to do something different but I do prefer just getting it over and done with.

    I have ate too much again today;

Breakfast - toast, yoghurt and grapes
Lunch - cheese salad thin and raspberries
    Snack - oat biscuits
Dinner - bbq food and all the trimmings, pluc meringue, cream and strawberries for pudding

I feel full but guilty now. Why is it that I know what to do, but don't stick to it! I guess the diet industry would go out of business, if so many people didn't have this problem.

Fmess, I've had a bad food day too! I've just had a large portion of chinese takeaway for dinner  I will just have to make up for it during the week.

I'm going to go to the gym tomorrow night after work, though I'm not quite ready to run there like Dolly! That's an amazing amount of exercise you have packed in today though, well done you! It's about 2.5 miles if I was to run to the gym, uphill all the way!

Just figured my phone has a pedometer built into it, so I will be interested to see if I can manage the 10k steps recommended whilst in work tomorrow. I'm quite active at work, so hopefully I can manage it.

Just a quick hello to all you munchin crunchin jumpin jiggling ladies:j

I am rather sad, I sank lower again and had an awful weekend. Not been out all week.
My neice stayed the weekend , I made a big effort to bake with her, so we made little sponge cakes.
Lost a lb, but its despite bad eating, ie pringles instead of lunch most days.
I had some maltesers. But pleased to find have lost the taste for them.

Good luck for the new week:beer:

I noticed in the last few days, that after eating a takeaway or a big meal, I feel icky. I also feel like eating more is making me more dehydrated, if that makes any sense.

Got a gym class booked for 9.30 tomorrow morning, and the morning is supposed to be the best for the weather, so will attempt to walk the dogs before the gym.
