Yes sorry! I realise that.
What a crap day! I honestly thought they had given up after not hearing anything for months (but knowing my hisband there is probably a load of unopened mail somewhere. Especially because it looks and feels like junk mail).
Too early for 🍷?0 -
they have up to 6 years to try to enforce an invoice under the small claims procedures, so 6 to 12 months is nothing in this "game"0
-
Oh I don't know - sun's over the yardarm
Don't let them worry you - they're plonkers and the debt collectors can do nothing no matter how much  red ink they might use0 -
Ok me again (sorry).
I have written the letters (all sorts of issues with bloody printer) and about to go to post office. There are 2 addresses for the debt recovery Company. A po box and in small font an address in london. It doesn't give any indication as to which to use. Because that would be too easy. Do I go for the po box as it is in a larger font?!
And I know I'm being wet. But can anyone tell me what the wost outcome of this is. If I lose all appeals, and it goes to court, will I be charged a ridiculous amount of money? And if I appeal, does that put a stop to the charges rising? Ie does it stay at the original £75?
You've all been so helpful and I want to believe it will all be fine. You've almost convinced me0 -
use the PO BOX
as for your other questions, please read similar threads on these issues , like this one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4250809 which has just been explained today
you need to get a grip on this, you havent been charged by operation yew tree, all you have is an invoice and an alleged debt with a debt collector that you never signed for
send the letters and stop worrying , life is too short0 -
I will let you all know.
Thanks, Redx0 -
Too early for wine pic that I can't copy?
Never too early to have a glass of wine and laugh at G24! They don't do court and are more than likely to cancel once the driver (you) sends Hot Bring's appeal template in due course. They always cancel when they see that! Anyone who pays G24 needs their head examining. Glad you are no longer 'bricking it' but are fighting back. Look how quickly G24 usually scrabble to cancel when they see a person is on a forum and using words that G24 don't understand:

G24 are among the easiest to beat and are not litigious either. They and Smart Parking are the easiest to see off, even with a late appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well - unfortunately, my husband recieved a letter from g24 this morning. It states that 'unfortunately your period of appeal has expiredas explained on the back of your Contractual Parking Charge Notice.
You now have a number of options from which to choose:
1) pay the outstanding parking charge.
2) if you choose to do nothing, we will seek to recover the monies owed to us via our debt recovery procedures and may proceed with court action against you.
Advice please! Realy not happy this is still in my husbands name as it was me who told him to ignore this.
This was the first time that the lwtter from them was in a proper envelope and had a 'this is not a circular' on it.
Thanks0 -
What did you send to G24 from the Registered Keeper (i.e. your husband)?0

I am writing with regards to Parking Charge Number xxxxxxxx and wish to inform you that I was not the driver of the vehicle on the date of the alleged 'parking event'. Therefore you must pursue the driver, whose details are:
