Personally I'd send the letter anyway. G24 are particularly stupid and sometimes need reminding. Bit like the weekly reminder I send them for the court papers they promised me for my outstanding invoices :rotfl:"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0

Is the section about BPA and sanction points relevant for the DR+ letter? (And it's DR+ not DP+).0
-
Well that's what confused me, bod. It seemed a lot of info about the 'offense' in the debt recovery ltd letter. I would have thought this would have come from g24. It's almost like the person sending it did so on the wrong headed paper!
Also checked, and this letter actually is signed and from a real person as opposed to 'the company' like all the other letters I have received.0 -
Oh, sorry. I realise what you mean now. I thought you were referring to the letter that I received.0

I received a reply form g24 this morning (well, husband did).
Very short letter.
"Unfortunately your period of appeal has expired as explained on the back of your Contractual Parking Charge Notice. "
And then the instructions of how to pay etc.
Grrrrrr. They're putting up more of a fight than I expected tbh. I don't really understand why it matters to them what name it is under?
Do I send the reply that HotBring suggested? I haven't done so yet as I had a feeling I'd hear from them shortly (least g24 are quick at responding).
And should I email them like HotBring suggested? Or wiuld snail mail be better?
Is this unusual for these guys to be fighting something like this? Just changing the name of the driver? I'm starting to worry they have more of a fighter attitude than they used to.0 -
Send my letter via their "Contact Us" page on their website and then ignore them.
They have NEVER done court ( have you Adrian King ? ) and are a bunch if liars. Just ignore all scary letters and it will go away ..... I promise."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Nothing unusual in this at all - they are just doing the usual thing.
This is exactly how they work.
By constantly repeating this cr*p they are trying to shake your confidence and hopefully cough up some cash.
Repeat an untruth often enough and folks will believe it - a bit like politicians do.
Stick to the original plan and advice from Hot Bring.0 -
Thank you!
Very good to here this is normal. I was starting to think they may have cracked down a bit.0 -
Hi everyone,
Just to say I finally heard back from bpa after making a formal complaint against G24. They tbf, replied straight away and said they would investigate. I recieved a reply saying that because the date of the pcn was from last november, that g24 of within their rights to persue the keeper and their investgation is now closed.
I would just like to thank everone for all your time and help over the past month or so. You've all been great. We have an awful lot of unrelated very high stress things going on at the moment (poorly kiddy related) and I'm not sure I have the energy to fight or even think about anything else.
At this precise moment I'm ready to pay them to get rid, which I know you will despair at. It is my own stupid fault for not coming on here in the first place (except my bloody husband didn't open the letter until it was already too late).
Thanks again,

I would say that you should send them the hotbring letters0
