hi lalaluna - my gosh, your posts have a different 'tone' to them already! you sound more 'in charge' and upbeat. you also seem to be more in tune with your feelings and I get the feeling you are having more insight into your former relationships.
I think you are doing fantastic - considering how strange it must feel to be there.
and trust your instincts about this other woman - like BigAunty, I have a lot of respect for Erin Pizzey, and I agree with her assessment of 'abusive women'. refuges by their nature are transient places and you wont have to see her once she or you moves on.
chin up hunny - you are doing right by yourself and your family - and are in the right place for you now. Things will get sorted out and your new life will be far better.

Had a meeting with my keyworker today. Im moving to another refuge tomorrow to be on the safe side. They've had a case in the past where a woman was tracked and she bumped into her ex down the road and he took the child and got as far as the airport. This new refuge is a sister site, smaller but the rooms are better apparently. Its a well known town, closer to my.hometown but still a decent distance.
At least now i will be able to properly relax, he wont be able to trace me and i dont know any one there.
My old phone is now with the solicitor and i believe she is planning to post it back to him.

Glad to hear things are working out. Sounds like the staff are on the ball and taking your situation seriously.

With the plus side that you can get away from the woman whose behaviour concerns you?

What's happening to the texts that you received on your old phone? Have they been downloaded and saved?

It should be nice hopefilly. At times its like being home again, tiptoeing round when shes here and then relaxing when shes out or in her room. Hoping this next group of ladies are nice.

Not sure to be honest. My keyworker is talking to someone at the mo then im going to fill in a form with her so ill ask then. I should get a copy of them really as they show ive asked for space, time etc and that ill contact him when im ready and that he continued to message me several times daily since.

The solicitors going to decide what to do regarding the phone and messages. I wrote down a more detailed version of my first post in bullet point form and faxed it through and the solicitors going to write it up. Just need to start packing now

Sounds like things are really moving (literally!) and your solicitor sounds on the ball.

Also moving again will be a little distraction for your girls....hope they are OK?
