It's done!!
The phone rang at 210pm,. I was shaking when I answered it, I was in such a state! The person interviewing me was a man named Mohammed. He was really nice. He started off by confirming personal details and told me that his dad had just opened a shop not far from where I live (!) Then he moved on to my assets. My car. He asked what I used this for and I explained about my dad and also that I needed it for work. He said that the car would therefore be exempt from the bankruptcy. YAY!! (This was what I was most worried about). He then moved on to my debts. I thought I would have trouble explaining them but it was fine really. I stumbled over telling him how I had paid off a credit card twice and still ran it up a third time, but he said nothing. I assume they've heard it all before. Next he asked about my employment and tax. He told me that I would be getting an NT code and that I would be responsible for paying my tax to the Insolvency service every month and would be sending me details of this through the post.
Next he moved on to my outgoings AND DIDNT QUERY A THING! In fact, he asked if I thought I had put down enough for road tax and MOT (£20 a month) which made me smile! He didn't query the £25 I'd put down for hols or £25 for emergenices, and didn't even query my TV/internet package at £36 per month which surprised me. I'm sure if by deducting this I'd have had over £100 surplus that might have been different. Then, this is the best bit, he told me that I WON'T BE GETTING AN IPA!!!!!!
Then he asked if I had any questions, I said can I send you my statements and credit cards and he said he would send me details of where to send them. Then he said that was it, end of interview. I said I was glad it was over as I'd been really worried about it and he laughed and said he thought I sounded nervous at the beginning of the call.
It lasted just over an hour in all, but a lot of that was in silence because he was writing down everything that I was saying, I reckon over half the interview was just silence after I'd finished talking and he was writing.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad it's over!
He didn't mention early discharge and I didn't ask, it felt a bit cheeky! But he did say that I would automatically be discharged on 06.07.2008 (but I already knew that!). He also said that if any of my creditors contacted me then to give them my bankruptcy number and if they called again to contact the OR office and they would contact them!
So all in all, it went brilliantly, couldn't have asked for a better interview I don't think!
Roll on 06 July next year!!

In the end I ophone the office and there was an answer machine message saying this office is closed due to the floods. Oh Claire, such a relief for you...and here I am, not even knowing what IPA is. But still I wanted to join with everyone else here and power another Positive Ooomph to your own personal Wishing Well.
You will sleep well tonight(maybe a glass or two), or at least, not fear the lying there waiting for demons.
And I have just sent a reply to Tesco's unsatisfactory one re: my camera before I take them to the Small Claims Court.
