I wouldn't base dating choices on nationality or a cute accent. They are no indicator of what a person is really like. To be honest neither are the social skills people apply, so they can adapt to any situation in an office environment. Approach him and see if he is open to the idea of seeing you outside of work, so you can get to know the real person, before you build an unrealistic image of him in your head.
bright blue eyes, perfect smile, a very snappy dresser, great sense of humor, polite, respectful and when he smiles he has this tiny little dimple on his cheek!! I am afraid to approach him and ask for a date because I'm a touch on the frumpy side. I always have to approach guys first, they never come to me. This Brit does though this is why he is different to any guy here.

We British men are a complex bunch, we have lots of strange customs when dating 'the ladies', we assume you are incapable of opening doors or putting your own coat on, we'll nod a lot, we like to make things with wood, we love all things British such as curry, we laugh at anything toilet related, we get embarrassed at any public displays of affection though if you are feeling down and need help we will firmly shake your hand and maybe slap your shoulder.
So you could try learning all our customs, learn the rules of football, understand and appreciate what Ale is, learn to cook.
Or you could just ask us to coffee and stop overthinking
Maybe offer to show him the sights. Wink when you say that, we love innuendo.this is what I mean by how classy Brits are! If this was an American guy he would have just said "hey baby can I touch your butt"! The day a man opens a door for me or helps me put my coat on, is the day I have a date with a Brit because only British men know how to treat a woman right.
Ask him for coffee? What if he likes tea? I can't think of a place around here which sells tea...Whoops-a-daisy :cool:0 -

Don't make the mistake of confusing him with any fictional character in a TV series, especially not a series set 100 years ago. A lot of those awful class-distinctions you see on a series like 'Downton Abbey' have gone out the window, and not before time. WWs I and II did a lot for that. You say he's 'classy'. I hope you don't mean snobby and toffee-nosed, I hope you mean courteous and thoughtful of your needs.
The very first thing my DH ever said to me was 'how was your day?' This told me: he was interested in me, wasn't just out for all he could get.
One guy I could really fall for is called Iolo Williams - he's a Welsh wildlife TV presenter.
Coffee is a great ice-breaker!
He comes from a place called Winchester, I don't know it but looking at pictures it is a very beautiful place.Whoops-a-daisy :cool:0 -
OP: if you want a British man to like and respect you, it is absolutely essential that you demonstrate an understanding of the off-side rule.Is this a style of British foreplay?
I have been chuckling at that comment for the past 5 minutes! :rotfl::rotfl:
The offside rule is something to do with defenders and football (or what you'd call soccer). I'm not familiar with football as I don't follow it but the link below should explain it;

Style of British foreplay, fantastic! :laugh::laugh::laugh:0
