Also keep in ind he might like.... 'pubs' or even at a stretch bars. If you go to one and he has more than two drinks, he doesn't have a drink problem hah.

One thing I did find in the US was having more than one drink made you some sort of frat house member!
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

It was also 3am in Ireland Scotland and Wales when the op posted.

But then England = the uk to many Americans.

    How sad.

    Have you travelled much?

In my experience, England = UK to much of this world, not just the US.

I used to try and correct people but now I can't be bothered. Life is too short.

No, I find that most people are very interested to hear about Wales and are glad to learn that England is not the UK.

now this guy has me all googley eyed like Pavlov's dog. His accent just makes my ovaries explode!!

I wouldn't base dating choices on nationality or a cute accent. They are no indicator of what a person is really like. To be honest neither are the social skills people apply, so they can adapt to any situation in an office environment. Approach him and see if he is open to the idea of seeing you outside of work, so you can get to know the real person, before you build an unrealistic image of him in your head.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Please bear in mind us British guys have a habit of "taking the mickey" and being sarcastic to the ladies we actually like...

My Spanish pal found english guys to be completely wet, too reserved, too shy to initiate s-e-x and not much cop in the sack.

What she also found unforgivable is that they also made really bad coffee.

She's seen behind the manners and didn't like the emptiness behind and the level of repression.

How many did she try to shag?

    Loads!

She's very beautiful, articulate and funny. In her job and hobbies, she meets many people. She signed up for dating websites, too.

She 'dated' loads of men (I hate that term). She's lived in the UK for years. She's gone off UK citizens, big time, finding them a bit emotionally constipated and insecure. She's actually seeking a husband rather than aimless flirting.

Last boyfriend was Italian - could make a decent cuppa, too.

Introduce me: I could make her rethink her view of British men.

OP: if you want a British man to like and respect you, it is absolutely essential that you demonstrate an understanding of the off-side rule.
