  • Hi mit
had a crappy day at work today and then the kitchen fitters brought the wrong worktop:rolleyes: they have had to reorder the correct one and have it mitred so I will have no kitchen tops until mid next week:mad:  .The tiling will then be delayed as can't do that till tops fitted:mad:
reading your thread tonight has really cheered me up, I was chuckling away here:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I love your sense of humour:D

hope DD doesn't decide to dig up the hamster just to check:rotfl:

  • Hi sophiesmum. I'm glad I managed to cheer you up. It's a bummer when you think something is organised and it goes t*ts up. My worktops are all fitted nah nah :p . Only half the room papered though and no flooring hmmm. I refuse to stress, it will be done eventually. Ok then it will be finished on 9th Feb as that is when flooring comes. :D

My diploma course starts in earnest now. Am away next week for a 3 day residential in a nice hotel :(
    Yeah right :)

No kids, room tidied for me, all food cooked, tea made for me, torture :rotfl: . I can't bloody wait. My mum is taking the kids for me and she is disgusted that I have to stay as it is only 15 miles away from here. Please dont tell her I dont 'have' to stay :silenced:. Ooooooooo I'm a bad lassie. Will no doubt spend a fair whack too.

I bought my lunch again today  . I need to get a grip of myself. Problem is I have loads of diet type foods in work but when it comes to lunchtime I am too hungry for that and I need a big roll or chips or something. Also a Tuesday night is very rushed for me so we had a chippy tea.

Been studying most of the night as I have a meeting tomorrow with my coach so have to appear ready and organised. I hate being organised. I much prefer leaving everything until the last minute and then cramming. My manager is having a heart attack about it lol. I refuse to change though as it works perfectly well - most of the time.

Ok bedtime. I might get a chance to catch up tomorrow x

You are funny MIT even in a tragic situation. Sorry to hear about Fudge, but you are a comic with your humour. I would get on well with you. I can't write humour, but I certainly act it....:rotfl:

Off to work today in the yet another big sale. Only have 30 mins lunch break, bah!!! as customers come first, not staff  .

Never mind, when I win the lottery tonight, I will buy them out and the bosses can work for me , ha ha.

  • Hey Binnie glad you are well. I only take 30 mins lunch too. It's my way of dieting as I can only eat so much in 30 mins. If I took an hour I'd be 20 stone :).

Been looking at houses online tonight and drooling over an old one across the road from my work. It is fab. Sloped roofs, huuuuuuge double hallway. Fireplaces still in each room. Big windows. 2 living rooms. Huge pantry. Minging decor but easily sorted. I am in love. Pity I dont have a pot to p*ss in or I would be there for a viewing tomorrow. Am going to have a look and see what it would cost each month. I can dream cant I?

DD is sitting drawing plans for it at the mo lol. She wants to be an architect when she grows up and is practising. No moneysaving done at all today unfortunately. I am dying for next week to pay some money off. Hopefully after that I will be able to pay money off weekly or so. Thats the plan anyway.x

Hi MIT and all your faithful followers!I have just finished reading all 44p ages- I started at noon and apart from answering the phone a couple of times, coming home from 'work' and cooking dinner, have been reading it solidly! It has been mentioned a few times, but you have a lovely style of writing and your sense of humour shines through all your frustrations. I think you should have a little look back at what you have achieved over the last few months- you have had a real rollercoaster of a ride and are still going strong! Here's to you having more ups than down in 2008, your DD and DS continuing to make you laugh and your 'friend' at work realising just how superior you are... Cheers!!

  • Hiya! haven't been online as I've been shattered and with horrendous PMT locked myself away from everyone. (bah humbug)

Today was a catalogue of errors:
    1. overslept
    2. tried doing a query that took all morning but was distracted as someone brought in a toddler and he was blummin noisy.
    3. forget my post pmt stuff - guess who needed it!!!
    4. remembered mum's birthday, forgot it was a special one.
    5. think I got zapped by a speed camera on the way home.
    6. chemist didn't have all my presciption so back to the drs then back to chemist.

Tired now! Dome loads round the house - it just needs a good dusting and hoover but that can wait.

dunno what to do for tea.......
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
