That just means you need more.

does it really have amazing shrinking properties!?!

    I don't know. I don't use it...

It apparently tightens things - after that, no idea.

Personally I would quail at walking around smelling of Preparation H...

Ah, that's where my thinking fell down. I've never encountered the stuff so I just assumed it smelt of roses:rotfl: . Although I guess it would make my bum look smaller to other people just by the smell keeping them at a 200yrd distance - and I'd get more space to myself on the beach. May be worth a try!

Red have a fab holiday. Sorry I missed you. Just think this time next week you will be all sun kissed and gorgeous ( even if flabby :) )

I have had a hectic day. Funeral took place this morning for Fudge R I P. :(
DS was fine and was only interested in videoing the occassion. The boy is sick I tell you !!
Got kids organised for their dads. Did some ironing. Stuck dinner for 2 nights in the slow cooker. Went to Homebase and bought a variety of things I needed for kitchen. I also bought a cheapo shelf unit so I can get some more space in my rear hall to put my excess shopping etc in. Bought Vinyl for my kitchen. Was nearly £200 but it is a decent quality so I am well pleased with that. Came home and sanded the kitchen. Sanded down door so it would close. Put new handle on door.Emptied most of the boxws of stuff for the kitchen. Cleared up general kitchen yuckiness. Finished making dinner and then after dinner I rsn dd to work. Shattered now x

No worries, you haven't missed me MIT. I am predictably slacking off from the packing:o Actually I'm pretty much done. Loads of room in the case but I'm worried about the weight, I'm running pretty close to the 20KG limit and still have OH's washbag to stick in (he has a little holdall so nice and light but not really big enough for all his stuff ).

Not sure if you should be relieved or worried about DS's reaction at the funeral:rotfl: .

In case I'm not back again tonight - and I really shouldn't be - I hope everyone has a good week (as long as I have better weather), and enjoy your new kitchen MIT!

I love this thread! Always takes me a few minutes to find it every day, should really subscribe to it, would make life so much easier!

Millionaireintraining, I can't ready anybody else's thread... damn, like your writing style in the things you come up with. You've inspired me to work out my own damn budget, make a nifty spreadsheet today with all the figures, quite chuffed with it...

  • grr had done a nice long post and it disappeared.

Welcome buzz!! Spreadsheets eh? Everyone loves their spreadsheets. I dont even know what they are and couldnt do one if my life depended on it :). Takes me all my time to cut and paste stuff. I remember asking a lass in work to cut and paste something for me and she did LITERALLY. the document was covered in sellotape :rotfl: . Twas cruel the way I laughed and laughed and laughed. I'm glad this thread inspires you. They are a lovely bunch of people who pop in and out. Join us anytime you want.

Hamster cage went onto Freecycle tonight and is being picked up tomorrow. Saves me being tempted to get another hamster. Can't cope with the drama. DS said in a very dramatic tone 'thank goodness as every time I see it I get really upset' Yeah right  . He was gutted yesterday but hamming it up today. I made 2 loads of stew in slow cooker today and was fab so one for the freezer. Dunno if I'm going to stretch the shopping budget this month. Was going for £250 before and couldnt do that so gawd knows why I thought I would manage £200  . I always use grocery budget for any lunches I buy and any time we eat out also.

hallo there - had a little chuck about your boy filming poor fudge's funeral. maybe he's a tarantino in the making!
  • Hello!

I've been reading your thread (not all of it I must admit, first 16 pages and the last 2) and several times nearly snorted my cuppa all over the keyboard! I've laughed out loud as well which is just the tonic I needed after a pig of a day and raging PMT.

I've got visions now, of your hamster's funeral appearing on YouTube.............

    Thanks for cheering me up!

  • bleeding eck what a night!! Too damned busy for lazy old me. I have been home from work since 5.30pm and then
    cooked dinner]
    emptied dishwasher
    filled dishwasher
    did a load of wash
met wifie who took hamster cage
went to nieces as it was her birthday
    went to school board meeting
    did more wash
    did my surveys
    collapsed lol
And all after 8 and a half hours at work !!!!!! why am I fat???? ( maybe cos I ate a box of chocs too ) :o :rotfl: . Well hell a gal has to have some pleasures.

Here's hoping my boy is a tarantino in the making tifn then I can stop doing all these [STRIKE]mind numbingly boring [/STRIKE] ever so useful surveys. He can keep me :). DD was reading the Hamster book tonight and called me at work all worried as it said in the book that sometimes hamsters look dead and they are not  . I'm no vet but I am pretty sure he was dead !! I told her that if by some slim chance he hadnt been dead then he sure was now after being buried for a day. Heartless? Moi ?? Warned her if she told her brother she would be buried beside the hamster. I really hope she doesn't as I can't be @rsed digging that big a hole.;) .

Poor DS has been desperately trying to get his funeral video onto a cd. Thank god he hasnt managed. His head teacher had him in her class today and she told me he was being dramatically mournful all day. I told her to shut it or I would send in the video and she would have to watch it.

Hi again buzz and 1 step. Sorry for making you snort - most unladylike :p . xx
