  • Hi one step. Nice to see you back. Cr*ppy day by the sounds of it. Lunar I will hopefully ,no I will definately get there in February.
My dd is sitting exams this weekend for dancing and she told me it was £17.50  . I gave her the money tonight and she came back out saying that wasn't enough. Turns out she is doing 3 exams @ £17.50 each   !!!!!! !!
I am in shock. Why do these things always happen just before payday. She is also going on a trip with dancing and that is another £16.50. So tomorrow I need to give her £51.50 and already gave her the £17.50 tonight. Jeez no wonder I've no money :rotfl: . Will need to tell my mum how shocked I am ( she will feel sorry for me and give me summat towards it :D ). Have bought minimum shopping for this week as I will be away for most of it and kids will be at my mums. I didn't take a list though and made the mistake of taking DS so spent nearly £35 on junk.

Had a few friends round tonight so that was nice. We had curries and I forgot one of them owed me £16 so that more than paid for mine. I need to assess my finances for this week cos I have so much to pay out it would make your head spin. Scary  .

  • Hi all. I got a free haircut today :D . My friend's DD's pal has not long qualified and she was handing out vouchers last night to try and get the lass some customers, so I went today. She's done not too bad a job actually. I have really thick hair and it takes ages to cut. I gave her a fiver so nice and cheap hairdo. Am well chuffed.

  • I am sitting here learning that the saying 'silence is golden' is oh so true. DD is at dancing, DS is at a party and I am sitting on the settee with laptop on my knee, loving it. I am eating cake too - what more could I ask for?

Hmm A glass of wine, a hunky man, loads of cash, someone to cook my dinner for me etc etc etc :rotfl: .

Not spent too much today. I still have the money in my bank for the joiner and I also have about £20. Get paid on Thursday and also get £110 between now and then. Have to give my mum some money for the kid's lunches this week while I'm away and some just incase money. I am taking £50 to my course and going to really try and not spend any more than that. DD still has £30 to give me too. I should manage to get through. I am a bit peed off though that I didnt manage to get my tax disc online due to lack of funds. I'll get it on Thursday.

Silly dinner tonight. DD is working and she gets a free meal and DS and I are just going to have baked potatoes and then a tin of rice pudding.

I cant wait until I get paid to see wht money I have left over. Probably won't be very much as I have my flooring to pay £180. .

I have got cheques in rhis week for 0% until November so I am thinking of paying off my overdrafts and then making sure i pay that card off by November. It will cost me £45 to transfer but my charges for the overdrafts in the meantime would be £135. No brainer really. So I'll do that tomorrow. Mind is whirling again and I cant wait to get started.

    Hi everyone,
Sold a few things on ebay today. Also took some jeans back to M&S as they had the wrong tag on them so were the wrong size. Got money back as there were no others, £35 going back in my bank, whoooo hoo.
Spent £14.99 in stationary box as needed some more printer paper and bought some card to make my own business cards for my website.
Now I just need some customers :)

Going out tonight with some friends. Going to a Wetherspoons so nice and cheap, Beer and a burger for less than £5.

    xxx

Well I'm back from my cheapie night out. , decided to have a malibu and coke and hubbie had a pint of shandy.
The I got a kids sunday roast meal for £3.99 with a free drink of coke.
The coke looked lonely on it;s own, so bought a neat malibu, which cost another £1.70  .
    Bang goes the cheap meal.

Hubbie got a massive mixed grill for only £6.99.

Ruined the cheap night by going to another pub and loading lots of £1 coins in the Deal or no deal game machine and lost the lot.
Then bought a round of drinks for £10.

Hmm, then ended the night with a little Baileys and Ice, yummmy.
Oh well it was Xmas money given to me and hubbie so in a way it was free, but suppose I should have paid it off the credit cards,

Sold one more item on ebay whilst I was out, but about 8 auctions ended without a bid, , oh well, I'll never be a Richard Branson.

    xxxxNight night.

sorry to hijack, just need to vent....

been waiting for a mate to come round to pick some stuff up that i'm lending to him for about a week and a half - rushed back from uni on Weds to make sure i didn't leave him waiting on doorstep. half hour later got text saying having trouble with family issues, can't make it.

went on facebook and he sent a message to another mate on tues saying "new girlfriend might be coming round on weds", that kind of thing. was a bit annoyed but thought that she might not have been the reason he cancelled on me, I'll let it slide,

told hiim yesterday he needed to come round today to pick stuff up, its in my way etc. he said he'd be round whenever i got home - told him at five that he could bob round whenever, he was busy so he said would be round at 7.30pm.

waited in, tick tock. it gets to 8.45 and i was fuming. said to OH get shoes on we are going out and we are not answering mobile phones. got voicemail at 9.05 saying "where are you, i'm outside - had more family probs, sorry i'm late"".

i thought, we'll see. will check facebook before I text him.

    LO AND BEHOLD!!!!

He's been on facebook at 7.40pm when he knew i was sat at my house waiting for him. texted him and said i hung around, really annoyed etc. he again said about family probs. Well, i let rip (by text of course, not wasting my credit). told him that he was taking the pess out of me if he didn't realise facebook had tripped him up. he's tried a few excuses about having family probs WHILE ON FACEBOOK, but tif is not having any of it.

i am not amused. rant over.
