Think there must have been some crossed posts, when I started typing my last post MIT was saying the weather was pants, by the time I hit submit I'd missed half the conversation and tif had won the bingo!!:j Congratulations:j
I suspect I'll drive myself mad obsessively checking my online banking until my next statement. I won a tenner on the lottery tonight so it would be just my luck if it got swallowed up by the extra interest. Thanks guys.
Lunar healthy eating is starting tomorrow although I did eat 3 grapes today as a practise.. Then I ate loads of chocolates
.
Plumber is coming tomorrow to sort out my leaky pipes. I have cover through Scottish Gas so no cost to me. I will have to take a days domestic from work.
DD has tonsilitis. She got her tonsils out 3 years ago as she used to take tonsilitis every few weeks and was missing lots of school but it appears that one side has partialy grown back and is now infected. Lucky white heather lol. Same thing happened to me. I got mine out when I was 4 and got tonsilitis when I was in my 30's.
No spend today which is always good I say. I even called ex and asked him to pick up paracetamol before dropping DS off and wonders will never cease ........... He didnt want the money back for them:D . Going to watch half ton mum and see if it will inspire me to stick to healthy eating :eek:5 Year plan. Glad to hear that it wasn't anything more serious -although tonsilitis is hardly on anyones top-ten list of favourite activities:p . I've got a friend who still regularly gets tonsilitis, despite having hers out. I think she just counts herself lucky she doesn't get it as often, or as bad as she used to. x1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0

i only won £7, but I don't have any money to make a deposit to make it up to £30 - which is the minimum withdrawal. so i frittered it away.
hope the family starts feeling better soon MIT.
Just looking at the online banking (which i seem to do ten times a day, red!) and i haven't actually used my switch card since Christmas Eve.
Probably cos we've been nowhere and everything we have used has been a joint expense, so has come out of the joint account.
good job really, i still only have £15.60 till 15th Jan. nearly there though, not long to go till pay day!0 -

lol tif. I've even started religiously checking my Halifax cc account, which I never used to bother with as I don't spend on it, it's just a balance transfer that I'm slowly paying off. Discovered yesterday when I checked that when they sent out my new card in December they also changed it from visa to mastercard, so my account number has changed. Now my DD is set to go out on Tuesday, but it's set up for my old account number. I'm assuming that as the number has only just changed that the DD will still make it through (this is what Sainsbury's did when they moved from visa to mastercard), but I daredn't risk it so paid £10 off the new account just to be sure - assuming that goes through in time. Man, these credit card companies will be the death of me!1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0 -
i know what you mean, its so hard keeping track of it all. i am so pleased that i am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
this time last year i was in a right mess and i was surprised todya to find myself smiling about money!
cos i only have 0% debt now, i am looking to save up for a bit and after the wedding i might even start contributing to a pension.
but for now, i'm at least letting myself crack a smile. and you lot on here rock.0 -
wow tif, I'd not spotted that in your sig before. How did you get a 0% forever deal?
