Hi All,
Feeling a little bit better thanks. Hope you are all ok too
Had my heating on most of the day and heard on the news that electric is going up with N Power yet again.
Bet British Gas follows suit too soon. God all we do is work to live.
I'm sat here watching a Place in the Sun and feel like running off to the sun.

I signed up with Scottish Gas ages ago which freezes my costs until 2010. I cant tell you how glad I am that i did as there have been loads of increases since. I dread to think what my payments will go up to in 2010 :eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well it is absolutely chucking it down with rain here today. Totally miserable and we are still all snotty
.
Had to take DD for a fitting for ballet shoes today. She is to go onto points andthey were £43. I made her pay £20 and she bought herself a new leotard and tights. She got loads of money for Christmas so I am not going to feel guilty about her paying for it. We went to McDonalds but DS had won vouchers for it so that cost nothing. Then went to ASDA and spent some money in there. About £35 on shopping and got a jumper for DD for school and tights for me. I had taken in £20 in change though so again not too expensive. Might be able to make a small overpayment to SONY but I will have to check my account first. I have > £30 in my purse which will pay for DD's dancing fees and I hopefully wont need any other money this week so long as I continue to be organised and make lunches etc. Bought all the stuff for them today so no excuses although I am sure I will find some if I need to. I hope you are all well x

hi MIT, I have just signed up to Closer Bingo - already registered but just used different email address - they give you £10 credit for nowt.
god its mind numbing.
i am scared of slipping into a coma.
anyway, i hope i win something over £30 - you have to have £30 before you can withdraw. actually winning anything would be top notch, that'd be free cash.0 -

£43 - no wonder my mum told me I was too tall to do ballet!
Wanted to slap myself silly yesterday. I pay for most of my big purchases (monthly food shop, petrol etc) on my sainsbury's credit card as I get nectar points. I have a direct debit set up for the minimum and then manually pay the remaining balance each month. Direct debit was due on 31/12, and I made the manual payment mid-Dec so I didn't have to worry about all the bank holidays. Yesterday I realised I'd miscalculated the manual payment and left a 60p balance on the card.
Not a major issue - except if you don't pay the full balance, sainsburys charge you interest instantly on everthing you've bought between statements, and because of christmas I've racked up about £700 this month:eek: . I made an emergency payment of £10, my statement date should be apx 11 Jan but I don't know if the payment will go through in time to not incur interest. I am sooooo cross with myself. Off for a bit of self-flagelllation.1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0 -
