I'm intrigued.. how come everyone is buying uniforms already?...I am assuming son will grow at least another foot taller by the end of the holidays!

  • Lol @ red. I dont believe it for a minute.
Bananakinz I cannot condone the early morning boozing tut tut. Wait until lunchtime at least ;) .It'll all work out I'm sure. Maybe you could home school:rotfl: . Think I would run away first right enough if it was me.

Whitewing I am in Scotland so my kids go back next week :j .

I forgot I had vouchers from Marks and Boots that I got from clickthroughs. I have put them on e-bay as I hardly ever use Boots and I think marks is a rip off. Will hopefully give me a wee bit to help me with my challenge this month. Going to put some more treasure on e-bay today and work towards getting this house free of clutter before I go back to work on 20th.

  • Am all worried now. Just got an e-mail from someone saying their parcel hasn't arrived that I sent 1st class on the 1st. I threw out the proof of posting today as I assumed it had got there. I asked them to wait until the weekend and see if it arrives. If it doesn't then I think I will have to refund their money as I dont want a negative. Gutted as my feedback is brill so far

Sorry about the missing parcel - I feel physically sick when things don't seem to be going to plan on ebay, and the one time that I got negative feedback I really did feel ill. Even when the negative feedback was withdrawn I still felt

So, I hope it turns up very soon - if not, perhaps you can refund half, as you can prove that you have posted it, so not your fault?

Ebay is the one thing I just can't face tackling. I keep reading posts about stuff going missing, scam buyers from abroad, worrying about feedback and the hassle of putting stuff on and it frightens me to death:eek:
I've sold lots of books on amazon -that was easy - but wouldn't know where to start with e bay.:o

MIT - Hope the parcel turns up by the weekend, hasn't there been a postal strike somewhere- that could have affected it somehow:confused:

  • Thanks Hypno but I would probably refund the whole lot as receipt is in the bin so I cant prove it.

Sophiesmum there has been a strike here by the posties etc. We didnt get mail in work all last week. Hate to think I am missing the backlog by being off this week too :p .

Made HM pizza for us all tonight and it really is fab. My DS's wee pal was here for tea and he loves food ( has a wee problem with it to be honest) and he didn't eat his. He hardly ever eats my meals as he is so used to carry outs and processed crap he must wonder what I am serving. I normally buy something in for him but have decided not to bother. It just makes my kids want the same crap he is getting. So he will either eat what we are having or go home for his dinner. I'm a hard hard wumman me:rolleyes:

I agree with you on the food issue - the child won't starve just because he won't eat HM food for one meal.

(does he have childline's phone number :rotfl: )

I hope you have a good day today and that the ebay parcel turns up.

  • Going to a 30th birthday party tonight. Kids are invited too. The guy whose birthday it is ,is my neighbour and is getting married on Friday( we are going to the wedding too). Got him some wine and a card. This is when I get a bit stuck as I dont know whether to count that in my grocery budget or not............nah not going to. Spent £10.12 at the local shop and only had £10 with me. OOPS more debt :rotfl: .
Have requested cashback from ciao £8.80, vouchers are selling well on e-bay but other items not doing so well. Hopefully will get some last minute sales. They will still be on over the weekend. Looking for about £100 but think I am being rather hopeful to be honest. Looks like it is going to be nice here at the weekend so I am going to look in local paper and see if any car boot sales on and get myself organised.
Sent letter to CSA re child maintenance. Ex tells lies on his returns and makes out that they have no money. Yeah right !! Hopefully will get a result this time. You know I am not greedy I just think he should pay a reasonable amount of maintenance. Was only getting a fiver a week for past year and now only £25 per week. If he can have the lifestyle he has then he can aford to pay more. Every spare penny I have goes on the kids and this would mean me having to say no less often. Ho hum I can but try x

  • Hi Sophiesmum we had a lovely time thanks. Not really the kid's scene tbh but they behaved well so that's as much as I can ask eh?
Thank god the parcel arrived today. The lass e-mailed and told me and she loved the stuff. Phew !! Was really concerned about my 100% there. I have loads on at the moment and could just see a negative going on and stopping me selling anything. And I need the money:o .
Been a nice cheap day today and there was a barbecue tonight so didn't have to cook :j
