Going to spend today playing catch up housework wise. Have already done 3loads of wash and have cleared outstanding ironing.

I know I have another bag of stuff in the loft to sell so I will go up there and get it tonight and get it listed. Busy, busy busy. hi ladies. bracelet is now on ebay, along with four rubbish badges (found in a drawer), a sequin dress and some speakers for boyf's mobile. hope we get a few quid for it, would be good to clear out some cupboards.
plus, i was scared of the pawnbrokers a little bit.
took all our change to the bank, cashed up £26 quid. thinking about a bread machine - boyf is bread-addict. bought small loaf today and its gone. i only got two slices of it!0 -
I'll join your weight loss challenge!! I have put so much weight on and it is all my mums fault!! Since i have moved back home there is always a dinner cooked when i get home, there never was when i lived with my ex i used to have to cook and then i didnt want to eat coz he would be doing my head in!!! I would love to lose about 3-4lbs a week but knowing my luck i will put it on!!
Your doing really well on ebay mit! I spent all day sunday putting a load of items on (100 to be exact) and only ten are selling!!! But we have till sunday so hopefully some more will go!!

Good for you. Let us know how it goes.
I listed loads more on e-bay tonight. Got the bag of stuff down from the loft and realised it was all suits and jackets so hopefully they will do well.
I have another reason now to get debt free. My mum lives in a council house in an amazing area. I am going to see my brother and buy it between us. This is a very long term investment but I see it as a way of being mortgage free in the future. Hopefully it will be a long, long time before anything happens to my mum but if and when it does I want the house to belong to us. If the situation is that my mum needs care or just company then I want to be able to sell her place and get a bigger place for me so that she can move in. Hopefully she can stay in her own place until she dies and then the house will be sold and split between my brother and I. I do not want to get a mortgage for her place as I do not want any money secured against it just incase anything goes wrong and she loses her home. This sounds all very clinical but as I said it is a LONG term investment.
So debt free ASAP then cheap loan for my half and it will bemoney for old rope as will be worth at least £30k more than it will cost us. No brainer really.
Forgot to get packed lunch stuff so had to fork out for lunches today  .
Ordered an ASDA shop to come on Sunday and included packed lunch stuff in that. Got a free delivery as was over £25. Don't think I have paid a delivery yet.

Dee we must have been typing at the same time there. You can join tif and me no probs. I am doing the typical serial dieter thing though and saying I will start on Monday. Going to weigh myself on Monday morning then post weight loss (hopefully) each Monday. I dont care if I even lose 1lb a week so long as it goes and the journey is not too painful. So welcome xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
