yay some other visitors. Thats what happens to me when I disappear, everyone stops chatting to me. I have decided not to get a suit as I am dressing up as a Lady and I have just the outfit. Spent loads today but it was all planned for. I bought DS shoes, dd a couple tops, bedding for them both and a bed and headboard for me. Have made an appointment with the blinds company to come and see me for new blinds as well so that they can get put in as soon as my new windows go in. My gawd you'd think I had money or summet lol. DD will get my old bed as she wants a double bed and I have got myself a small double which will fit in my room a bit better as I have the smallest bedroom. I got it with storgae under it too so that will help with the storage problem I have. Going to veg in front of the telly now and have a lazy night . Take care xx Buzz I'll have a look at that site and Red I hope OH gets better soon5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

MIT, have you tried MySearchFunds? I use them as my current search engine to find stuff on the internet while I'm browsing, they do use google which is great but you get paid 2p for a search.... they pay out at £20, which is not bad for extra income for doing the same thing every day... oh and if you refer friends and they use it, you'll get ££££ for their searches as well...
Hiya Buzzbox,
You can recommend me if you like for mysearchfunds.
Pm for my email addy.

jeezo I cant believe its been 4 days since I was on here. Next month I am going to join the grocery challenge again as my shopping bill is getting monstrous. Not been too bad the last couple of days but had nearly £100 bill for shoes as ds needed shoes and so did I and my feet are so sore it cost me a bit over the odds. To be honest though I have bought loads of cheap pairs of shoes and they are just hopeless so end up a complete waste of money. Bought a chippy dinner tonight so that was a right old waste. Was ok but never as delicious as you imagine it is going to be. Hope you are all well x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi Tif. Hows you. Are the wedding plans going well then? Looks like you are doing well money wise/ weight wise etc by your siggy.
Came home from work today and our rabbit was sitting in the garden!! God knows how she got there but she had managed to escape from her hutch. Both gates were open so we were really lucky that she was still here and no dogs or cats had got her. She is a much loved pet and kids would have been devastated if anything had happened to her. Had to go and buy new hinges and locks for her hutch. I also bought a lock and bolt for our summer house as DD has moved some of her stuff into it. Spent £28  on bloody locks. Bought a subway today and sweets. bad girl lol. Never mind I'll be better tomorrow....... I hope xx

Red creeps in, ashamed with her absence, and general lack of keeping financial track.
Things took a turn for the worse for my spending diary. The other day at work I threw a full glass of water all over my desk. That which wasn't absorbed by my notepad poured off the desk into my open handbag - and striaight onto my spending diary! It's a bit crispy and crinkly now but fortunately May seems to have taken the brunt of it and the rest of the pages should be ok:rotfl: .
I was worrying that I was loosing the motivation to reign in my spending, until I got my car insurance renewal - which has gone up by over £70 for no apparant reason:eek: . Well they can stuff that where the sun doesn't...... -having looked on moneysupermarket there were 40 companies quoting less, the cheapest being over £150 less, so I'll be going elsewhere. Now if only they had sent me proof of my no-claims bonus  .
OH is still miserable, but he's off back to work tomorrow so I just have myself to amuse for the rest of the week:T
