My road to being a millionaire - I wish

Hiya All,
Had to work today on a bloomin bank holiday an all, all for just minimum wage, and no extra days in lieu,
Anyway it went fairly quick as it was mega busy, just the rich pensioners in again spending their money on expensive clothes.
One woman spent over £600 and didn't get that much stuff for that either,
Wish I could afford to have a spending spree on clothes, but then I get depressed when they don't fit and eat choccie again.
As for the Wii, hubbie bought that with his winnings, he won some money in the works draw and we have had a few nights of bowling and playing tennis.
I'm getting better at the bowling, but rubbish at tennis.:rotfl:
Anybody been watching "Flood " on ITV, I got bored, so decided to come in here for better entertainment.

. I am fine thanks vonph just been ultra busy and DD taking over the PC. Have managed to pay an extra £230 to ARGOS this month but still have £140 to pay to avoid any interest and it has to be paid by 23rd June  . I then have £120 to pay by July and £530 by July. Jeezo lol. I should manage to do well on the diet for a couple of months as I wont be able to afford to eat  . I have my hols in July but they are paid for and kids will have their own spending money so I can probably manage that on my normal weekly cash and a bit extra for petrol. Spending diary is definately being dusted off tonight and started again as I have been spending on silly things like lunches etc and when I do that you can kiss goodbye to about a tenner a day. I have also bought loads of take aways and tbh they never taste as good as you think they will so I am going to cook again.
I had another assignment to do for my diploma and it was a !!!!! to do. The subject was all about finances and project management and its not a subject I am familiar with so I have had to wing it and hope for the best. Sent it away today.
The weather is amazing here. Only 1 days rain in the last 10 days or so and even at that it was hardly anything. Need to go and feed the kids now as they will be gnawing the table legs soon xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Back again. Haven't spent much today
. Made packed lunches for us all and they were yum yum. Spent money on a bar of chocolate and a roll for me but was less that £1.50 and a £1 for a raffle ticket in work. I'm happy enough with that. Be more expensive tomorrow as I have to go into town for a meeting and I will have lunch and fares although I will get reimbursed. I was moaning in work that I was bored with my job. It's very busy but not my type of thing at all so I have now been given 2 projects to see through and I am quite excited about them. The words my boss used were that I was to shake the staff up a wee bit lol hmmm that usually means make yourself unpopular  . Not that bothered to be honest .I only work to earn .most of my social life is out of work.
I'm watching this thing on STV about food and how to cut the shopping bill. Well hey we know how to do that. My bill has gone up quite a bit recently and I have been going mad because I have been spending about £75 on average a week but these people are spending about £200. Their freezer is chocka with processed minging food. We all like a wee processed thing every now and again but I just dont understand how people can eat these things every day. I honestly dont like them that much. I made sausages, organic potatoes and veggies tonight for 3 people for about £3.50 in total. The processed stuff would have cost much more and it wouldnt have filled us and wouldnt have been as nice. Hope everyone is well x5 Year plan. Another good day today. Spent under a tenner and that included lunch. I can reclaim it from work so not too bad. Kids spent nothing as they had packed lunches. I have made their lunches for tomorrow and I have boioled eggs for mine and I will have nice smelly egg and spring onion sandwiches. I will be popular eh? :rotfl: . DD has decided she doesnt like meat other than chicken or bacon. I have told her I dont do choices so she can either eat what I make or make her own dinner. She had super noodles last night and toast and pate tonight so I may have to rethink that one lol. I slept in this morning and had a train to catch so it was a mad mental rush as I had no lunches made and had uniforms to iron. Wont make that mistake tonight as your day feels like you are playing catch up. Got £200 to pay tomorrow for dd's trip. My mum has given me £100 but I still have to pay the other £100  . There's always something. Ex has started to pay the new maintenance rate so that helps but instead of paying £26 per week to his arrears he is paying a fiver lol pathetic. Hope you are well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Welcome home! haven't seen you about for ages, well done on the Argos money, have you thought about doing one of the tenner a day challenges for a while to try and make the extra for your DDs trip? I'm so relieved I'm still at the day trip stage with DS, I think I've a couple of years left before they do their week long £200 thing (they don't even leave Ayrshire).Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
Mortgage balance: £36,210
Money making challenge £58/400

Hi SS I think I have run out of options for making the tenner a day. Will have a wee read through it though and see how folks are managing it. Thanks for reminding me of that.
I wish to hell the trip was £200 but it's £620  . The £200 is just this months instalment lol but probably wont need to pay any more until after the holidays.
Have spent £1.80 £4 today. £2.20 in chippy for chips to go with the pasta for dinner and 80p for 2 rolls and a bar of chocolate and £1 to DS for a sweet as I have stopped stocking up the sweet jar as I always end up eating the stuff in it. I want a wii fit but nowhere here has them in stock  . I want the kids and myself to get more ,ok then ,some exercise and this will be perfect. Would spend more going to the gym in a month so its defo a bargain. I need to buy a suit at the weekend too and a decent pair of shoes. My suit is too small for me at the mo and I will need to make sure I am suitably suited for the meeting next week. I will have to look at it as an investment because if I get this diploma then I 'should' get promoted at some point. Hope everyone is doing well xx

Hi MIT
Try Next clearence or Matalan for suits, they arent too expensive.:j0 -
MIT, have you tried MySearchFunds? I use them as my current search engine to find stuff on the internet while I'm browsing, they do use google which is great but you get paid 2p for a search.... they pay out at £20, which is not bad for extra income for doing the same thing every day... oh and if you refer friends and they use it, you'll get ££££ for their searches as well...Smile more often, it's FREE :hello: Live on £4000 for a year stalker!0

Hi guys.
Hope you're all well. I've been a bit crap at the MSE lately. Just struggling to find motivation, debenhams card got a bit of a hammering during the sale, been buying lunches at work, and the spending diary has gone out the window, although, apart from debenhams, I don't think I've spent very much.
OH has been majorly low this week and I'm struggling to deal with it (I'm slightly concerned that right now he might be shaving all his hair off with the i-trim I got him at christmas). I wish he'd go and see his GP but pigs will fly before that happens.
Sorry to come on just to moan, I'm sure he'll snap out of it soon. Should probably go and blow the cobwebs off that spending diary:rolleyes: .
