Well, your holiday sounds sort of.....urm.....well......, moving on!!.

Hope the back has not given you any further problems, and that DD's bedroom is now finished!

  • Hey Hypno. My back is still giving me gyp but not quite so bad as it was. DD's bedroom is finished and looks fab so am well pleased with that. She emulsined and glossed it herself so guess who will be tarting up the bathroom a wee bit :D . She enjoys it and I hate doing it so its a perfect arrangement. I just tidy round the edges etc for her.
Forgot to mention during my holiday rant that I have broken a tooth and lost my mobile phone  . I have managed for a week now without the phone but must admit I really hate not having it. It's just so convenient. Going to call Virgin just now and see what they can do for me. I'll be back later xx

your holiday sounds similar to a Haven break we had through the sun in Filey - couldn't wait to leave. the kids loved it though....

Hope you have a wee change of luck soon though as it sounds like you've been through it lately. x

  • Cheers SS I'm sure I will. I belive that you make a lot of your own luck and recently I have been putting zero effort into my life, debts etc and really need to get my !!! in gear on all fronts. Have started the spending diary again as I said. I have loads of stuff to go on e-bay so will get that photographed to go on later this week. I have a few survey sites just about due to pay out so I will use that money for debts. I am des[erate to manage to pay off this £500 and odds to Argos by 23rd August and also my car tax. Will only get 6 months tax though so I can concentrate on the big bill. I feel really inspired and have warned the kids that I will be counting every penny again. The groans were loud and long lol but too bad!. I managed to get a new phone and keep my old number for £15 :j . I thought I would be at least £50 + so am really pleased with that. I changed my DD's tariff with virgin as well. She gets 300 mins and 300 texts just now for a tenner but I have changed her to 100 mins ( she hardly uses them) and 1000 texts for £15 per month. She will pay the extra £5 herself so no extra cost to me and she is well pleased as her texts might last longer than a week now  . I spent £6.20 today on a chippy dinner for DS and myself. Last one for a long time as I am joining the slimming club on Wednesday night and food like that will be banned from the house. I have £6.30 to last me all week but hopefully that will be doable other than the slimming club membership fees. Back to work tomorrow :( so I better go get some sleep now. XX

  • yay ! no spend today. Wnent online to do my tax disc but I need some document number so will not be spending until tomorrow. Will go to slimming club tomorrow as well as I am going to pics maybe on Wednesday night. Got a free fiver for Dream bingo but unfortunatley didn't win :(. Going to have a browse and see if any bingo sites I havent screwed yet :rotfl: . Think I have had them all though.
Am knackered tonight. Really tiring going back to work after a holiday and not only have I gone back to 2 weeks wor I have not one but two trainees  . I also brought in a new strategy before stopping nad the computer system came online whilst I was off so I had loads to do with that today as well. I reckon I'll be in bed by 9pm. DS and DD have been at my mums today and they both moan so much about being bored. It's a shame but I have to work unfortunately. There is a huge promotion exercise in our place and it is not a hand picked, temporary job this time. It will be fair and open and the jobs are permanent. My boss has told me to take time out tomorrow and Wednesday to get my form completed so that she and her boss can go through it with me before it is sent off. It's so hard to get through the sift for these posts that they have to be nigh on perfect. Lots of work for me then the next few days. I love being busy even though I moan about lol I hate being bored. Am off now to look for bingo sites and then going to veg in front of telly for a wee while then bed. Take care xx

  • Aww millionaire no mates :(. Thats what I get for not coming on for ages. Oh well I'll talk to myself. I bought a new phone and managed to get the one I had as a reconditioned one and including delivery it cost me £18.99. I was well chuffed until my DS lifted his bloody washing tonight and the 'lost'one fell out of it   . Weans !! (translation-children)
Bit of a spend today unfortunately. £24.09 all in. Joined slimming club which was a tenner, bought my skint mate and I a subway £4.99 for those cos some kind woman in the queue gave us a voucher :D , Bought my mum her weekly newspapers and bought a chippy tea as I wanted a final binge before I started my healthy eating plan. Hopefully my shopping spends should cut down now. Am going to dentist tomorrow so no doubt that will cost me a fortune. DD and I are getting our hair cut on Thursday too so that'll be more cash. I just cant let mine get wild as it has to be tidy for work and DD wants hers done when I go. gOING TO TELL HER SHE DOESNT NEED IT DONE EVERY SIX WEEKS THOUGH AND GOING TO BOOK MY NEXT APPointment for 8 weeks instead of six. Sorry about the caps but cba changing them :o . Big shock at slimming club tonight as I am the fattest I have ever been in my life  . Never mind I am ready to rock and roll big time now. Hope you are all well xx

  • hi Buzz. Nice to hear from you and hi to you too keeping positive. I started my spending diary again this week and OMG!! what an eyeopener. I have spent £150 on nothing. I needed to spend approx £40 and I spent another £35 on haircuts but even so thats £75 on nowt. Thats not including the £85 I spent on food. I can't believe myself. How could I get this bad again? Just shows how far you can slip back if you take your eye off the ball. If any of you have been struggling and have not been filling in your diaries then please start again as I am in shock  . My pals are all off on holiday tomorrow to Turkey and I am red hot jealous. No more skint years for me. i need to get myself sorted for once and for all.I am setting myself a challenge to clear Argos and Barclaycard by the end of the year. This is on top of the money I already pay per month. I need to do this. I am fed up counting the pennies. Am away now in a huff with me :p
